I'm about to get on the Texan bandwagon. The way they came back on the road against Washington was mighty impressive. They are the youngest team in the NFL. Right now that is a bit of a handicap. Come late November and December it will be an asset.

Not going to go that far, but I think this team is better than the one that one the AFC East two years ago

I think the Texans are going to be a real threat this year; they have the same kind of mojo the Saints had last year.

Read this about the NFL today - might be my new favorite football read after TMQ. He talks about the Texans some:

I'll believe in the Texans as soon they stop giving up 400 yards passing.

To be fair, yeah they did give up 403 passing yards but only 18 rushing yards. Giving up 421 total yards in a tightly contested OT shootout isn't all that bad.

It'll help when they get their first or second best defensive player back.

1. Dolphins- somewhat legit; should contend for a wild card
2. Steelers- legit
3. Texas- Super Bowl sleeper; legit to win AFC
4. Chiefs- Not legit; no offense really at all
5. Bears- should contend for division
6. Green Bay- legit NFC champ material
7. Bucs- not legit at all; maybe 6 wins

I'd rank em like this:

1. Packers - Legit SB contender
2. Texans - Legit SB contender
3. Steelers - Legit divison contender/wild card
4. Dolphins - Legit wild card
5. Bears - 7-9 win team, unlikely playoffs
6. Chiefs - 6-10 win team, unlikely playoffs (easy schedule with a ton of toss ups)
7. Bucs - Complete fraud

Miami has a very tough schedule 9-7 at best.
Steelers will be a wildcard
Texans will win the AFC south
Chiefs, probably 8-8, might be enough to win that division lol
Bears more lucky bullshite wins for these assholes
GB 10-6 wins NFC north
Bucs will fall apart, 6-10, better things on way

Any reason you excluded the Saints?

They weren't 2-0 yet at the time of the post.

And predictable responses other than from those who want to stir up shite.

Oh

I'd say they have some questions to answer as well

They haven't looked particularly impressive as of yet

I suppose what they do have in their favor is that you know that the talent they have can produce

1. Dolphins: division is real tough. likely 8-8 or 9-7 finish

2. Steelers: afc superbowl contender

3. Texans: 10-6 but I still think the colts take the division. first round playoff exit at the hands of a defensive juggernaut like nyj or bal

4. Chiefs: finish 7-9 to 9-7

5. Bears: o-line isnt good enough to keep winning over the course of the season. eventual 3rd place finish in their division, probably 8-8 or 9-7

6. Green Bay: legit nfc superbowl contender. I think they win division at around 11-5 or 12-4

7. Bucs: should finish 3rd in division. likely 7-9 or 8-8 finish. they do have a pretty easy schedule.

I have a feeling we can make it to the NFC title game but we may have to go to Green Bay and I think we may fall there.

Why do so many Saints' fans completely dismiss Tampa Bay? Given the history of the NFC South, they would seem like a legit contender.
