They didn’t give up a sack all season. A single one. That’s mind blowing
They probably didn't throw the ball more than 50 times an entire season.

Uhh they passed almost 250 times..

Lawrence Phillip's almost kill his girlfriend before the 97 championship game and he still played.
Supposedly because he caught her cheating on him with current head coach Scott Frost.
It was also earlier in the season and he was suspended most of the year and was reinstated when the charges were dropped.
Could have been a great if he got head right

I think Frazier would be a lot like Plumlee but with a better arm. I think 95 Nebraska would give 2019 LSU a very good game. LSU 48 Nebraska 42

Probably not as players get bigger, stronger, faster, and better conditioning over time.

But the FACTS are LSU went through a much much tougher and proven gauntlet
LSU also played three more games than ‘95 Nebraska did. They had an 11-game regular season, no conference championship game, and only one bowl game.
You can’t use LSU’s schedule to bolster your argument due to the fact that ‘95 Nebraska didn’t play in the playoff era. In a similar format, LSU only has three Top 10 wins: Florida, Alabama, and your bowl game opponent.

The fact is LSU did have to play 15 games against 7 ranked teams and 5 top 10 Teams
That happened, which makes it a tougher gauntlet than Nebraska faced

So that pretty much means that from here on out every team that finishes 15-0 is going to be able to apply for GOAT status due to the fact that each and every one of these teams are going to be playing between 4-5 Top 10 opponents per season, especially if they come out of the SEC. You're guaranteed to play at least one Top 10 team in the regular season, one in the championship game, and two in the playoffs.
2019 LSU is a great team, one of the most battle-tested in college football history, but they weren't the most dominant or the greatest. They're a Top 10 all-time team but that's about it right now.

So YOU think this LSU team is the GOAT???????

Who knows. I don’t have a time machine to seems the LSU team back in time 20+ years
I’m just saying it’s an indisputable fact LSU has the far better resume

Nebraska is recent enough (1995) that the difference in size/strength wouldn't be so great. They could also control the clock as well. It's a great debate.
I would rank LSU above 2001 Miami, 2004 USC and 2005 Texas.

Ok. Put it this way. IF Nebraska had to play the same amount of games in 95 that LSU had to play this year, who would have beaten them???? Nobody.... That's who.

IF Nebraska
Their resume is what it is, and ours is what it is
Its not anything to argue over, our season is better.

But they didnt
Which is irrelevant considering the system they played under back then. If the playoffs had existed in 1995 and Nebraska had played a bunch of also-rans like Clemson did this past season then you would be onto something.

So again( Homer) you are saying THIS LSU team is the GOAT.... Correct????????
Just want to hear it for sure.....
