No, it was great.
If Willie Stargell liked it, I damn sure liked it.
That was such a cool team:
Al Oliver- hit the ball like he was infuriated with it
Rennie Stennet
Tim Foli
Manny Sanguiellen
Dave Cash
Bob Robertson
The greatest of all time:
Mr. Roberto Clemente, who doubled on his last at bat to hit 3000 hits and died in the off season. Even G-d knew how great he was.

That could very well be the last time the Pirates win the World Series.

MLB is such a pathetic joke nowadays that the small market clubs have a massive disadvantage.

Dave Parker was once cut from a team when he was in high school.

Back when baseball guys considered themselves "ballplayers" and not athletes.

Back when cocaine was not necessarily addictive.

I'm a Cub fan not a Pirate fan but that was absolutely my favorite non-Cub team ever.

It definitely wasn’t as good as Creed helping the Rangers win it all this year.

Pittsburgh is 10X nicer and is a much more beautiful city than Philthy-delphia could ever dream of being.

And the people are much nicer.

frick Philly.

Sorry. I’m not talking about the city. The city is great, especially compared to Philadelphia. The pirates are awful. They are the old Cleveland Indians of the national league.

Anybody else think think a disco song about female empowerment was a weird choice for a baseball team?

Not as weird as the Phillies song about getting dumped and dancing by yourself in the corner.

Not for long. Dale Berra and Bill Madlock snorted it all.

Surprised Keith Hernandez never went there as a free agent.

It’s also a much better song than sweet Caroline, and Pittsburgh had the good sense to give We Are Family a moment in the sun rather than make it a permanent part of the franchise.
