We had a nice weekly TD.com pickup game several years ago. It was fun and pretty competitive.

I know that Elite 8 invites have been sent out. The committee is currently working on seeding which should come out later this week. The Elite 8 is set for Feb 29-Mar 3.
The Our Lady of Mercy tournament is this upcoming weekend, which will feature most but not all of the projected Elite 8 teams.

Aside from AC, everyone is at Mercy this weekend.
St George v. St Theresa, Catholic v. Aloy in the top half. Mercy v. STM, SJV v. Jude in the bottom.

2. St. Jean Vianney vs 7. Ascension Catholic

St. George beat SJV in the final, and Mercy defeated CHS in the 3rd place game.
As someone else mentioned, this week's Elite 8 will be the same field as the Mercy tournament, with Ascension Catholic instead of St. Jude.
3 of the 4 1st round games will take place Thursday night, with #1 SGS vs #8 St. Theresa tipping off Saturday morning.

Not fair St.George had to play 3 games in one day

Yeah.. SJV shot the lights out but it wasn’t really fair to make the overall #1 seed have to play 3 games in 1 day to win it. Organizers did t check to see that A few teams still had their last league game on Thursday when the tournament was scheduled to start. I don’t know if it would have made a difference but those kids had looked forward to this tournament for 3 years and really got the short end of the stick. Nothing was done intentionally but they should have at least been allowed to play Friday.

SJV won the Championship against SGS 52-36. Congrats to them for winning their first ever Elite 8 Championship.

No other team had to play 3 games. St Theresa could potentially have but they played St George first round and were knocked out of contention early.
