-3 under would be solid open round for Tiger, and give him some good momentum to go low in the morning.

Considering how he's started on Thursdays -3 under would be to yuge. Got tough holes coming up tho.

Anything under par would be a solid opening round.

Easier set of holes coming up. Tiger should move up a stroke or two at least this round.

Damn, Matsuyama just hit a 400+ drive to have it roll into the hazard. Tough day for him

I think he hit that with a fairway metal... maybe a 3 wood. Crazy roll out on that one... very unfortunate.

He ought to be about 4 under. Still missing some opportunities. But solid round so far for sure.

He also made a bomb. He could be 4 under. But I think it's overstating it that he should be there.

The Masters has had the greatest live sports stream I've ever seen, and they've had that quality for 5+ years. I don't understand why CFB games on ESPN can't even sniff that quality.

Maybe a bit of an overstatement but 6 and now 13 are sticking in my craw.

That miss after the poor read on the birdie putt was about as predictable as Tiger has ever been.

That on the other hand, was a really poor three putt.

He's +1 since I started watching (10th hole, 3rd shot). I blame myself.

These 400 yard fairway wood shots are pissing me off

On a good day if I catch my 3wood just right and get a good roll, I can get it about 230 yards.

Although that 18th fairway is playing like a fuzzy parking lot, so maybe I could get a good roll.

Eh, this bunker shot will be a mess.

ETA - I appreciate the aggressive line though.

It was very stupid

Even if he hits it right it is still going to run past the hole because it will land on a downlsope

It was all risk, no reward

Was there ANY reason for Tiger to be ANYWHERE over there on the right side of that green?

Can't even take a wedge right at that pin. DAMN sure can't take whatever the shite he had in his hands.

Be left and see if you can get up and down for birdie and maaaybe luck up and roll it up on the green.
