Sounds like it back to ESPN now. Unbelievable how week their signal is.

Seems like it's back...what a shitty operation. Can't get a signal in a lot of spots in BR when they have TWO stations so they add a 3rd on HD eagle 98.1 2 or some shite.

It amazes me how difficult it seems to get a signal from the Mississippi River to Prairieville for this station

Back to ESPN so strange. I didn’t know if there was something in the schedule I usually miss

They can’t do anything to boost their signal. Just stream it from your phone.

They seem to always have problems around this time of the year for some random reason.

I’m shocked you get it at all from that distance.

I mean frick...if you can't broadcast properly over the air then don't have a radio station. I don't want to have to stream a radio station. Just get your shite together and figure out how to send a proper signal! Oh, and get off my lawn....

Their transmitters are in Donaldsonville and Clinton I believe

The FCC regulates how powerful they can "transmit" their signal. Apparently their license only allows for their current output.

EDIT: Map of their transmitters

Why don't they switch up 98.1 and 104.5/104.9? Aren't they owned by same company? Why are we sitting here trying to come up to solutions to their problems? Oh, right..just stream it!

The 98.1 HD2 channel works fine for me in Lafayette... unless it’s storming

Odd. WWL radio has a 105.3 simulcast but that's a hell of a long way for it to bleed over. 105.3 ain't that strong. And 104.5/104.9 aren't owned by the same company that owns WWL.

Just don’t even have a show then. If I have to stream from my phone, I have a lot of options. And I’m just going to select a much better show to listen to. And that’s exactly what I do.

I would listen to local sports talk on the radio if they didn’t have such shitty signal. Absolutely embarrassing that I can drive down government street in front of the station and hear static.

You realize the signal isn't transmitted from their office on Government?

104.5 is in Jackson, La
104.9 is in Donaldsonville, La

Does anyone else have this issue when listening in the morning? Normally around 6:50 or so the station will repeat a few words or sentences of what was just said. For example: Golic says “Next on the show we will ta...next on the show we will talk about how James harden etc...”
