I've actually enjoyed this game. These guys can actually play defense. It's not just slow pace and crappy offense. I can't believe Atkins officially only has 2 blocks. Seems like 50.
What I'm shocked about is watching someone out-rebound Sparty. No one outmuscles MSU. Also, the refs are letting them play. Only nine total fouls. It's been a physical game, but not constantly stopped by whistles.

No. I don't enjoy watching a race to 45 points to decide the winner of a damn basketball game. You can play defense and still score points. Or try to have get into a flow and have urgency.
And why would a good defense be able to hold a team to such little point totals? It's fricking basketball. I realize these guys aren't NBA level talented. But shite, can coaches really not get these guys to play good offense?

I enjoyed it because I love watching Alabama.
But I can honestly tell you that IMO, Saban and Miles went full retard in that game. I understand why, but they were entirely too conservative aside from a few trick plays.
BUT, you can't compare the two sports bro.
ETA: It was 9-6 btw. And dammit, on further thought, that shite is NOT comparable to scoring in basketball!
