Totally crackpot theory: I think teams need to get seeded based on their performance but also on their coach.
Aren't they a significant part of getting the team ready for a quick turnaround between the weekday and weekend games?
Izzo/Coach K/Self/Williams/Calipari should get a bit of a bump for their teams

I disagree with the seeding idea but agree that having one of those guys definitely helps. Izzo's teams are always playing their best ball in March.

It's amazing what the reputation of having a good defense allows you to do. Virginia gets away with so much contact on players driving to the lane
