He didn't hit it at full service strength but that wasn't a fricking lob either. A ball hit like to the face when you aren't expecting it is going to hurt.

It's a tennis ball, not a baseball or hockey puck.
People get hit with overhead smashes all the time in regular tennis games; that wasn't a smash...ball boys get hit with serves...that was basically a lob...compared to what he really could've done.
