Pretty impressive round from Tiger to shoot -1. Hit 8 of 14 fairways (a couple were off the map), 9 of 18 greens and 27 putts. It could have been very ugly, but the short game work he's put in showed along with his knowledge of how to manage the course. The short game was outstanding and will keep him hanging around imo. The 9 of 18 greens could have been much better but yardage or something was off just a touch early, as he kept coming up about 1/2 club short.

He's only 3 back - right there. If he doesn't collapse tomorrow he should make the cut.
My biggest concern is that his group is going to get fricked by the wind tomorrow when much of the field will have not nearly as bad conditions I think. There's a good chance it's out of his hands.
