2013 masters is now ruined and a non event. TW story trumps golf, viewers are going to be shocked when they see what was done to him.

Well if he knowingly took a drop to gain a competitive advantage, he should DQ himself. I hope he does, I'll lose a little respect for the guy if he doesn't, I'm not going to join a pitchfork lynching mob or anything if he doesn't though.

If he withdraws the game of golf becomes boring again and me along with a few more million people won't be watching today.
For that reason alone, I doubt they'd even accept a withdrawal from him.

So can we watch the whole tournament live this morning or is Augusta still fricking us with partial coverage?
Posted on 4/13/13 at 9:38 am to Tiger1242
Idk but hopefully so. I figured the weekend coverage would be full..... Unless they just don't like making money.

And the reason I asked you to elaborate is I respect your input on golf topics.
I don't think TW knowingly & willingly violated the rule. Now after all of the fury and focus on the situation he realizes he made a bad drop.
All of the rules experts have met and ruled. Let's put it behind us and look forward to an afternoon of great golf.

I never liked seeing someone get dqed for signing an incorrect scorecard, but how the frick can they honestly can they just suddenly come up with this interpretation of the ruling?
If anything you make the changes after the fact, not right away just for tiger.
I can't decide how I really feel.

And this is why I hate tiger fans.
Pathetic.

I appreciate that

It was one of those things that he probably let the shot cloud his judgement, wasn't thinking, couldn't see because of the sun, who knows. He may not have known he was breaking the rule at that exact moment, but after he hit the shot he was probably thinking it. He should DQ himself to save some face IMO. Like I said if he doesn't, I won't start hating him, but will lose some respect for him.

I am most certainly looking forward to watching golf all day.

Maybe for the typical tiger fan that doesn't give a shite about golf.
I for one will be watching it more intently without having to hear, "tiger just took a shite in the port a john behind 11."

I'm watching either way, Tiger is polarizing and it'd be cool if he broke Jack's record but at the end of the day, he's just a guy. But I don't think him not watching if Tiger is out is pathetic, it won't be interesting to him, his loss....
