Integrity is the foundation of golf. You can't correlate that with football (though I do understand what you are saying)

Even in a Masters thread LSU fans bitch about refs.

Just messing.

Exactly. Golf is one of the few sports that doesn't miss many penalties or calls.

There's 100 missed penalties in a football game. 200 in a Bama game.

The other excuse they could come up with is that Tiger already said the sun was in his face. He could claim that he thought he saw his ball ricochet off the flag and back at him, so he thought he was on the right line and in the right to go backwards on that line. BS, but it's a possibility.

I have no problem with penalties being called on the course when they're justified. I have a huge problem with people calling in to frick over players. Could you imagine if that was allowed in any other major sport?

After viewing back to back video.

He played from his last stroke plus a few inches. No way was that 6 ft behind his last stroke as he said, 20 inches at most.

Camera angles make it tough.

Legal drop.

Did he ask for a ruling? I wasn't able to watch when it happened. If he asked, and they told him it was cool, it's not his fault. If he just did what he wanted without asking, rules official should've called him on it.

That's weak as shite.

For the praise Augusta gets for doing things right, they are ridiculous on a lot of things.

Then he should be DQ'd for signing an inaccurate scorecard.

Yeah, the more I hear/read about it the more I get ticked.

What med and others were saying about the nerds ratting you out over cell phones pissed me off.

The DQ is at discretion of the rules committee.

@HankDHaney: When he said he dropped 2 yards back i thought he had a problemRT @StevieO1974:there's a lot of talk about Tiger's drop on 15 being illegal?

@HankDHaney: Water hazard drop u can go back as far as u want keeping the point where the ball "last" not first crossed the hazard between u and the hole

@HankDHaney: Of course they can but if it is he is done because he signed his card RT @Franks_23: can they give him a penalty?

They remind me of a secret society. No one questions them. You don't question Augusta.
