Do you really not want to give an explanation? Or are you just in here to show how much you don't know about golf.
And you'd lose that bet my friend. 10 years of competitive golf and caddying for a pro, as well as being on a rules committee for over 5 years says you're wrong.

If Tiger wouldn't have admitted to moving farther back than the spot of his 3rd shot, we never would have picked up on this. We will never hear another post-round interview from Tiger again.

Is there a link to the interview?

Thanks, I already admitted that...but if you read the article you linked, it actually insinuates that Tiger could still be DQ'ed for signing an incorrect scorecard since his violation would be out of ignorance of the rule, while Paddy's was because he couldn't have possibly known that the ball had moved.

I'm speaking to you saying its a DQ no matter how you slice it.

Read your own link.

Under the new decision, Villegas' DQ would likely stand (the ultimately decision on an individual's fate would be at the discretion of the Committee) but Harrington would likely have been merely accessed the stroke penalty but allowed to continue to play the tournament.
It stands to reason that Tiger should've known he dropped incorrectly. It didn't take HD TV to see he committed an infraction. If they determine he committed an infraction, he'll be DQ'd.

I know and I had already admitted I was wrong

Technically the article is right it's all up to the rules committee. They can do whatever the frick they want.

I didn't see that until after you posted.
