When was the last time that tuition went down or stayed the same? I wanna say that I’ve been hearing about tuition going up for 30 years now.

Have you been to a college recently? Louisiana Tech looks literally nothing like it did 8 years ago with all the construction. So thats where it is going.

I think it has consistently doubled the annual rate of inflation since the late 50s or somewhere around there

I’m amazed that more people don’t know this.

One of the greatest scams going right now. Worthless junk from private colleges.

The liberal colleges and universities are capitalists at heart. There are unlimited funds available to someone wanting to go to college. There are a finite amount of slots that a school can have. Keep raising costs till applications fall.

Congrats on letting your political beliefs blind you to the real problems. We've made a world where a college degree is damn near a necessity and have given kids access to unlimited pools of student loans to pay for it. Colleges get used to spending that money like candy and suddenly here we are.

Yep

Governmental backed loans are too easy to get and people think that a college degree is a requirement and in some cases an entitlement now.

There will be a credit crash unless the feds bail it out with forgiveness which is just bizarre to even contemplate
