Mine has them removed
Been watching them since the IPO. Bought in at 27 the day after IPO, sold at 38 because there was way too much speculation going on.
Bought back in during peak pandemic at 2.85... Unfortunately, I only bought 200 shares, but that was what I was willing to lose at that time.
It could be the next Mercadolibre or a huge bust imo. I dont think we'll really know whether its a bust for a couple years at least.

re: Property Tax Assessments

Cant speak to LA, but in Florida, the County cannot increase your assessed value more than 3% in a year on homestead property. Consequently, people who have owned for a while usually have lower assessed values than the actual fair market value of their property. I imagine there's something similar in LA that is the cause of this discrepancy.

If they ask you where you’re from don’t you ever tell em Florida. Be damn sure they know you’re from Louisiana.
Truth is I am from Florida, but went to LSU. I made sure the guy I just spoke with knew I'm from the panhandle tho so he knew this isnt my first rodeo and wouldn't judge me in with the south florida yuppies. Will probably just try to keep my mouth shut and my eyes on the skies once I cross the state line.

Also, in the future I’d recommend you find a field to buy for a season or a small field to lease so you can plant your own field. You can lease dirt for $20 acre.
I originally had a spot lined up on my friend's land west of tallahassee, but covid hit and we never got around to clearing the field. I still might try to do this next year to have a closer spot. Ill lyk if I do, youve definitely earned a free shoot if you want it

I'd just browse Facebook for South Georgia pay shoots. Usually find a season stand for 2-$300.
I already found a few. Thanks for the tip. If you happen to run across one near brunswick, please dm me.

I've got some second season fields (sesame) because it's too damn hot to shoot first season.
I definitely understand that. It was 95 degrees out at 430 pm opening day last year. Unlike Georgia, Florida only lets you hunt in the afternoon for first phase, which makes it that much more difficult.

This is the way to go but look at the field really close...lots of those fields are baited and its the person with the gun and the license who takes to ticket not the bastard who slung cracked corn all over the place. If there is an inordinate amount of cracked corn in a mowed pasture and swarms of dove proceed with caution....
This is a very good point. As an out of state hunter, I dont expect any sort of lenancy from the game warden.
Thank you both for the tips, I truly appreciate it.
Any South Georgia Dove Hunters on OB
Posted by 850tiger on 9/9/20 at 3:14 pm
So last year, I drove all over North Florida trying to get my boykin on some doves and only got one shot all season. Im in Jacksonville and the closest public planted dove field (in Florida) is 2.5 hours away.
So this year, I've been looking for a better spot and discovered GA has a number of public planted dove fields much closer to me.
I've never hunted Georgia before, but am excited about this new discovery.
Before I go buy an out of state license, I was wondering if any one has any experience with any of these South GA public dove fields?
Has anyone had any luck so far this season?
Anything else I should know?
I called the DNR Regional Office to pose these questions, but the phone was disconnected, just fyi :banghead:

I could eat morcilla all day. Avoid chinchulin, chewy cow intestines that does NOT grow on you if keep eating
re: Real Estate: What are my legal obligations if there are title issues?
Posted by 850tiger on 8/21/20 at 11:42 am
Does the seller have title insurance? If so, have they made a claim? Depending on the defect(s), the title insurance company may agree to insure over the defects to allow the sale to go through, meaning that they wont take exception to the defect in the policy and should it ever become an issue, you make a claim and theyll fix it.
As to getting out of the sale, I agree with whoever said to just let the contract expire.

Not really tech, CVM is a head and neck cancer biopharm company due to report phase 3 trial results within the next month. P2 trial results were great and the P3 trial has been going on for 8 years now so I have high hopes for a good bump.

If its hundreds of fish then its probably red tide. Pretty normal for July here in Florida
re: Sell BA?
Posted by 850tiger on 6/9/20 at 10:06 am
My avg is 118. Sold half at 155 and I obviously regret it. The rest for me is a long term hold. BA was paying a dividend of $2 per quarter prior to covid. If we see sub 200 again it wont be for long imo so I'd only sell some if you need to rebalance.

Their ex-dividend date was yesterday which likely explains the bleed. I dont think this thing will make any moves for a couple months when the economy is on a more clear path to recovery

I think he's solid. He's the motor we'll need in the midfield if we're going to truly compete in a world cup. The inconsistencies will likely decrease as he continues to develop.
