What purchases per month do you put on your credit card?

what expenses do y'all put on your credit card per month?
I'm thinking about using my credit card for everything and just paying it off at the end of every month to take advantage of getting cash back.
I basically want to shift from using my debit card all the time to using my credit card.

Pretty much everything goes on mine, with the exception of some bills and phone bills.

Everything except Rent/Bills/Utilities(Just makes it easier to take out of 1 account)
Get the Mint app and link your bank account and credit cards, it makes it so much easier to keep track of to not overspend.

Everything. I get about $2500/yr cash back. Never paid a dollar in interest.

Yep. Found out the wife isn't good at the not overspending(her admission) so we just do gas and groceries on ours.

Main one I use is my amazon rewards card. I use it mainly for amazon purchases, fuel, grocery.
I wind up usually applying the rewards points to dumb shite I don't need on Amazon

Everything.
I don't mind paying the $2 fee that wipes some value for things like electricity for one particular reason.
Since pretty much all frequent flyer account transfers require moving points
in 1,000 increments, there is nothing worse than having something like 49,975 points for a 50k award, having to transfer a whole other 1000 lot over and now orphaning 975 points with an airline after redemption.

This is what we do. I just go online and pay my credit card every couple of days. I get 2.5% cash back on all purchases so the small hassle is worth it.

You should never use your debit card anymore these days other than to get cash out of an ATM. Too much risk in having someone hack your card.

Exactly what I do. Works fine. Just pay it all off (read: don't overspend because it's not reflecting in your bank account immediately).

That a little overkill. Are you worried about your utilization? Nothing is wrong with paying off your balance every month. You only incur interest if you don't completely pay off the statement balance.

I personally do it every couple of weeks on payday. Helps me to see how consistent we're being in our spending. That said, I'm starting a new job next week where I'll be paid monthly, so I'll have to adjust the strategy a little.

I did the exact same thing you're talking about close to 2 yrs ago. Realized I was losing out on rewards points by using my debit card and not a credit card. Just get a cc and use it like you'd use your dc (aka don't overspend) and rack up those points. I use mine for everything aside from rent.

Literally the only things I don't use my Amex for are when they don't take Amex.

Yeah, Amex loves me. I have no idea what they'd let me put on my business card if I wanted to but it's a big number.
