Starbucks (SBUX) is setting up nicely for a run. snagged a small position in the last few days.

quietly...
LVGO hit 142
TDOC hit 224
plenty of glowing praise lately in the trade publications for both anticipated Q3 earnings and the combined company potential. 142/224 leaves plenty of meat on the bone to get back to pre announcement highs for both, and remember that LVGO Q2 earnings were a blowout.
user retention for both of these companies is extraordinarily high.
two green days in a row here might suggest a more realistic market view and maybe the disappointment is fading

Anyone have thoughts on KIRK marching up the ER? I grabbed some shares at 7.75 on 28Aug and they haven’t disappointed so far.
Also, any idea what news that’s hurting BNTX? I’n getting crushed there and haven’t seen anything but good news.

Thought on DT? I really like them. A lot like FSLY as far as growth potential. Thinking about starting a position with free cash. Or buying some long calls

did a quick search, a lot to like there especially recurring revenue. They are a direct competitor to DDOG which has flatlined since their earnings report.
seems to be in a recent uptrend which is where I like to buy.
I may trim some things today and I’ll put this one on my list. I’ve got five positions at ATHs and it’s making me jumpy
you still heavy in SE?

No I sold it all at 140, 150% gain. Although I really like them long-term I thing there will be another buying opportunity this fall.
I feel like a bit of a correction may be coming especially with all these kids getting Covid back at school. Might rattle the markets a bit. 2 of my nephews caught it at LSU already, said all of their friends have it too.
Tech co’s not making any money are gonna get pounded imo
But I really don’t know at this point......

I’m still riding the DOCU train. Initial position was in the mid 50s. This is the biggest winner I’ve ever had, might hit $300 if they have a good earnings report tomorrow.

I’ve still got 120 @ 103.
$165 at the moment might be a good exit, although SE Asia seems to be doing better than we are at present
tech futures up a full 1% this morning LOL

I think I'm gonna ride with SE for a while. Their earnings report was ridiculous, and did not take the dreaded earnings dip like a lot of other tech did.
I am intrigued, and want to see where it goes

Yeah almost a daily thing now. Apple may be worth 2.5T by the end of the week.
Never been scared of the market but this is making me a little jumpy too.

what I really should do is sell the 350 LVGO I bought on 8/5 at 138 now that I’m out of the red on it. That would get my cost basis back into the 50’s on 300 shares and lower my exposure
it seems like the right thing to do...

I don't think that's how the cost basis works but I could be wrong.
I always thought it was first in, first out.

Well I think there is still a lot of value out there.
I think WMT is severely undervalued given their recent moves. They are basically taking on Amazon, if they can execute, look out. Same day delivery on everything plus groceries is a huge market.
Maybe I’m different than most but whole food isn’t that appealing to me......Amazon’s grocery anchor. I love the produce but it is overpriced, like everything in the store.
But, I hate Walmart too ha. Especially going into the stores. They really need to streamline the app also, it’s harder to find stuff than amazon.
All these 150 dollar WMT calls coming in seem to think so too
Sorry for rant.....
