Lot of FRX talk on Twitter.

Personal note: I did P90x by beachbody about ten years ago and that kicked my butt.

Warrants are under $2 and the head guy Jim Momtazee has an impressive background.

Yep leadership knows healthcare/biotech deals. Bio tech is red hot right now. EVs and other ESG plays are too crowded imo.

Update for BFT

Thanks for the update. Haven't been following BFT much and ended up keeping 1000 BFT+ warrants. Think I'll convert them after the ticker change and hold.

I've been implementing a third strategy on my wife's account. She'll kill me if I go negative so it's more conservative but still effective (especially after a day of reckoning like we had yesterday):

I go "ALL IN" on ONE spac unit/common under 10.50 that I'm highly confident will get me over 15% then sell. Go All IN again on another one under 10:50 then sell again. Rinse and repeat.

Went all in with SRNG.U today at 10.90 (deviated from my <10.5 target but highly confident that this will not get under 10.5 and will be much higher relatively soon even without a rumor).

I'm accumulating ALTU heavily under 12. Hopefully get a DA pop and Woods puts it in her ARK fund.

In 2009, I was a C-level of a private company looking at what everyone now knows as SPACs as a vehicle to IPO in the midst of the post-08 uncertainty. At that time, there were few SPACs outside the TSX, and our CEO got talked out of the deal on purely appearances, because he wanted a big splash on the NASDAQ instead. Now here I am sitting here on TD reading about how to get rich on these things and how they're the preferred path to IPO for unicorns. Meanwhile that clown of a CEO went on to BK a great small company 6 years after I left to handle one of its deals with a strategic investor.

Thanks for starting this thread LSUregit. Even though I'm late to the party - I didn't even know about MT a month ago - I'm enjoying all the discussions immensely!

Just picked up a bunch of PACXU. Team seems top notch with with lots of tech and growth tech experience.

I was sitting on about 30% cash in my trading account and figured a pre-split SPAC, fairly close to NAV, and with a good team is a relatively safe place to park some money. 10.43 for PACX with split next week seemed like a steal.

I'm considering it with MAAC, it's at around $10.20 right now, but SPACs can go under $10 so there is the possibility of missing out on opportunities by being in the red on your SPAC.

Agreed. It's not risk-free by any means. Since PACXU is still pre-split though, I think post-split the likelihood of the common -- even if it dips under 10 -- plus 1/3 warrant equaling less than 10.43 for an extended period of time is relatively low. I'm even fine with being a 2-5% red if for some reason that does happen.

I actually changed tack somewhat yesterday and today.... watching so many current DAs get beaten down so significantly, i switched up and bought the FUSEs, ALUS, ACICs, SOACs of the world including some short term options @$10 strike. The NAV floor seems to take some risk out (yes I know it can breach in the short term).

Thanks for the free split tip on fidelity. My roth is already there and that is where I want to do my spac unit plays.

Check out EQD lead by Sam Zell. Hard to not go all in on that one as well. Hes's a mastermind and He will get a deal done, and even commented how Spacs at nav are great for investors. its at 10.50 and warrants are cheap.

Love Altu and Aerion

Same here ... if they are able to put that deal together, and Boeing is supportive, ALTU could very easily surpass $50/sh by Q3.

Altitude intends to focus our efforts on identifying a prospective target business with either all or a substantial portion of its activities around the globe.

We intend to focus on travel, travel technology and travel-related businesses with either business-to-business (“B2B”) or business-to-consumer (“B2C”) focuses, that have compelling growth opportunities with strong underlying demand drivers which include travel-related platforms including, but not limited to, travel booking engines; revenue, payment and expense management services; travel management companies; alternative accommodation and mobile-based travel solutions. We expect that these target companies will have characteristics appropriate for public companies.”
