A few questions on spacs. So far I have been playing the close to nav strategy. Just on a basic robin hood account. But I am interested in buying the units pre split (on fidelity). Basically when you buy a unit you get the common plus half a warrant when it splits right? I am assuming you cant use margin like on commons, so would this be a good play for a roth ira Thanks in advance.

i got rid of rest of mine before this last bump.....oh well...
i like buying and keeping for the long term and not just flipping...
i get the plan but already a lot of high end and low cost competion and already see them on tv...
they may be the next keurig verses tassimo ...

In general, the term structure is more favorable for sponsors and investors but I think retail prefers the lower NAV. Like all mergers, upside largely will depend on the acquired target.

Yes, NAV strategy can be done in your ROTH. It's a "safer" method for those with low risk tolerance but still want potentially high reward. Some units have whole, 1/2, 1/4, 1/5, etc. warrants attached when split. I believe it is free to split units with Fidelity.

Same sold my warrants at 3.50 they are over $6 now. Kicking myself now. Thought I could buy back lower.
They are doing a 2nd one FRXB. May be available Monday. I'm loading up on warrants the first day they are available

what draws you to this area of spac investment??? frxb
i really thought frx was going to try to get triller
based on announment timing, management, 250 mill ...etc
i was not a fan of target they went with...
picked up ccv with hopes they may go for triller but now not sure ????
anyway ..what catches your inerest in the next fr.... spac...i want to get a little and looking for a reason ...

any of you SPAC gentlemen in/follow PSTH closely? I bought some June18 calls back in December based off of Bill Ackman saying they were on track for a Q1 2021 target announcement but I have not really kept up

Ackman was a little questionable on the timeline on yesterday's call. Basically hinted he would like to deliver on the Q1 promise but "some things are out of psth control."
My best guess is that a target has been found, but the announcement is dependent upon how quickly the target complies with whatever actions are needed on their end.
Here's to hoping the target is Stripe. If so, my grandkids will have plenty of stripe shares because im not fricking selling that company.
Currently holding shares of PSTH, IPOF, IPOD, BTWN and some others.
If BTWN is tokopedia I'll also hold for many years.

I liked the beach body I just messed up selling my warrants to soon trying to swing them. If FRX is popular it will help their next one before they have a target. if I can get warrants below $2 ill take it.

rumor is ark just picked up some acic for the space etf they are making...i am getting to confused chasing these and the problem is i want a piece of them all...think i am gonna have to stop and just focus on the new space ark...grew up watching the jetsons to much :)
