You’ll be able to get it out of lower price

They can’t really announce anything

I fully believe this thing’s going down into the mid $2 by late October

I agree there will be lower prices, but I think it will be heading back up before late October. If the vote is on the 29th, it will start trending up in anticipation of that and should get a nice bump following the vote.

The risk, of course, is waiting for a lower price as they could announce something in the meantime that would send it back up even sooner.

I hope you’re right and they can steady the stock in the four dollar range

But really starting to wonder if redomcile and up list in NASDAQ are going to put this thing in the double digit range

Being realistic, if they got 100% uplift from four dollars obviously that’s eight dollars and puts us back at the all-time high

I think that’s more realistic at this point

Yes, I'm not so sure we see double digits by EOY. But if we were at $8 right after EPA approval, no reason we shouldn't get back there or close to it after redomicile and uplisting.

But at that point, most of the table will be set. It will be time to see whether we have some buyers or not.

Its not so much the news, but listing on the NASDAQ will give access to a whole lot of investors. How much will the price go up? Who knows. I'd be happy with $8, and ecstatic with double digits.

They will, of course, need to start announcing contracts in order to keep the price up, with larger contracts leading to much higher stock price.

The downward price pressure, higher volume and 3% short indicate there are people wanting in at a much lower price. There is far to much positive news around the corner for for any other reason to make sense.

I'm not selling unless HG management completely drops the ball on announced plans.

Makes me wonder if acetylene gas will now become cheaper.

Oil price.com

Their read is that producers may end up drilling gassier acreage on purpose, just to keep both products moving through infrastructure that was designed mostly around crude. quote: The plant going up at Pecos sits next to the wellhead, buys gas that would otherwise be competing for space in an oversubscribed gathering system, and burns it on site to make electricity the data center uses directly, never touching the public grid.

I'm not sure it's a price, as much as the timing. We all know that the Redomicile vote is at the ende of October, and I think folks are selling with the plan of moving back in around mid-October.

I'm not saying that. I'm saying that we know that the redomicile vote will take place on 10/29. Some investors may view it as a window of opportunity to make a quick buck someplace else for 6 weeks before jumping back into HGRAF.

You would have to assume that there won't be any contract announcements, NASDAQ listing news, or news on the Bellville plant that could cause a spike.

The stock is giving back a little of a huge year on a down week for almost everyone this week while everyone waits for the circular to come out. I would not be surprised to see the stock start moving upwards towards the end of Friday in anticipation of the circular.

Record date is tomorrow (Sept 11). The circular is the first full public write-up of the U.S. move: structure, rationale, risks, costs, and the approval path. That document is supposed to hit SEDAR+ after the record date. If it reads the way I think it will, it is a real information event, not another teaser. Could I be early? Yes. Could the tape stay ugly into the filing? Yes. I am sized for that. I am not sized for “the circular never comes and nothing changes.

Two dates are real. Everything else is guesswork until the circular hits SEDAR.

Sep 11 is the record date. If you don’t hold it that day, you don’t vote Oct 29.

After Sep 11 is the circular. Its the first full write-up as to the new structure, why they’re moving, risks, costs, vote threshold, court path. The actual document that will determine how sophisticated and far ahead or behind they are.

Oct 29 is the special meeting. Vote on the U.S. redomicile (exchangeable-share deal). I

f it passes, it still goes to B.C. Supreme Court for a final order, then the remaining regulatory/listing steps.

They have not published a closing date but given all that is taking place that can be November.

This is NOT a Nasdaq listing vote and NOT a Bellville ribbon-cutting and lastly it is NOT an announcement for new contracts or future contracts as those get their own announcements.

So the “sell now and buy back mid-October” take only works if you assume six quiet weeks. The circular is the next real information event. Last week and this week were never on the calendar as blast-off week.

Could it bleed into the filing? Yes. Could it jump when the circular is actually out? Also yes.

What I want to see one Page 1 in that filing is who the U.S. counsel is because Miller Thomson is a Canadian law firm. They can run the circular and the B.C. court piece. An exchangeable-share move into a U.S. parent needs a U.S. law firm firm on the cover page. The name of the attorney and law firm is the first thing I’ll look at to evaluate whether we have a executives who can take this company where it needs to be or whether we have a mom and pop operation running on the cheap.

You are welcome. The earliest the circular will come out is after hours on Friday and if doesn't hit tomorrow night then if they were smart they would release it on Tuesday or Wednesday for maximum traction.

Per Kevin Bambrough linked below:

Exactly. I didn't say it as well, but that is what I meant. If you are dumping the stock now in order to buy back later, then you are making the assumption that nothing is going to happen that will in the meantime that could drive the price up.

The circular has the potential to do that.

Been seeing this thread for a long time now, and usually a long drawn out thread on a stock over the long run pays off here at TD. So I bought 40,000 shares just now....to be held for eternity.

You SOB's better not fail me.

EDIT: WRONG THREAD LOL. Meant for the AMFN thread.
