What is everyone's target price?

In 2011 when it was $66 a share. I bought ~100, sold 40 when it was in the $180’s thinking it was doing good.

Announcement of grounding here in the US and whispers of a controls malfunction. Liable to see a nice little dip.

I'd have likely bought on Monday if it hadn't had such a crazy run up the last three months.
Right now I'll just watch it bleed.

Yep, your bad joke certainly went over his head.

I read on another forum that eye witnesses saw the engines on fire? So possibility there could be other issues at play here than what everyone is suspecting.
I wonder what the stock will do if they discover they hit a bird or something else from listening to the black box!?

How much of Boeing's value is contingent on this new model selling well?

I'd say that about 90 dollars. Airbus making hotels that cant take off from most airports while boeing is focusing on economical midrange 737 is the whole reason they have boomed in last year and a half. They have over 5000 of these things on order and that backlog is their fallback.
I'm a longtime boeing holder, haven't sold a single share since I started buying at $120, and I wasnt intending on selling any anytime soon, also have every dividend being reinvested. This recent week has definitely sucked.
If it drops under 315 I'm going in deeper. Boeing isnt going anywhere.

How could airbus engineers make a blunder like that? Whatever happened with the dreamliner? Is that selling well?

Does it really matter? Just buy some. If you're nervous, take a third of what you were going to invest, and save the other 2/3 for later.

I dumped it at $400 after the news and bought back into DAL. BA has been a great stock and will be again. I just don’t want to ride it down if indeed it stumbles for a while. I hope I will know when to get back in. If it nears $325 I’m jumping back on it.

The Dreamliner is a great seller. The cash cow is the 737 though. Doubt the 777X will be a big seller.
Boeing’s decision on the NMA (797) this summer or next year will be big. I think they will pull the trigger. Too many 757/767 retirements and the A321XLR is too small. A nice bridge between 737 and 787 is needed.

Pan Am taught me to stay away from airline companies/manufacturers.

I think 370 was the bottom.

They haven't even started looking at black box yet. I'd be careful about calling a bottom.
Eta: Just saw that faa is signing off on software fix in 10 days. What a weird press release. Why 10 days?
