Choppy out here. Bought back in with a little bit of profits just for the ride

So how does this end? It can't stay this high forever and it truly is a shite company. I love the fact that a group of normal people crushed a hedgefund, but scared some of these dudes are causing people who can't afford it to put in a shite ton of money they will lose.

I have been out of the loop on GME. Someone catch me up on why suits are so made about GME.

Any analysts expecting rational behavior out of this group should hang it up
I mean, even if they "win" it'll still be interesting...because so many of those guys will be holding positions that are incredibly overvalued and they can't all get out at the same time. So even if they win, some/many of them are going to lose everything.

This was my concern. Someone has to lose. Is it going to be some retiree that has no idea what this is but dumps his nest egg in because his grandson tells him to?
I also feel like this is me missing the bitcoin revolution too.

I'm so torn.

Slightly off topic hijack. I don't own many stocks but the ones I do I have set to reinvest dividends. Yesterday I threw a little money in on blackberry and when I clicked that button it said they do not reinvest dividends. How does that work? Like why do some companies not allow that?

GME doesn’t pay a dividend anymore

next 3 days will be interesting. If folks don't sell and fight through all these small dips, it has to go up.
shorts are fricked, but i dont think they just go quietly into the night. They are working with billions.

The longer it trades between 70-90, the more the pressure grows on all those short positions bought before last Friday.

I bought on the dip WTH i'm in, 48 shares @82
Posted on 1/26/21 at 9:21 am to PistolPete45

Posted on 1/26/21 at 9:31 am to TheChosenOne
So how long can you keep a short position open? As long as the people you borrow the shares from allow you to?

I think that they likely don't pay a dividend. If you're interested in dividends, the financial sector is always a good place to look. And the banks always come back after a recession. I made a bunch on them in 2008 and am doing it again this time around. I hold Regions Financial and Fifth Third right now.
