Yea, but he's got much more of his money sitting there. It's not "house money", it's his if he chooses to take it. I think the phrase "House money" is a very unhealthy way to look at your investments, and the way you nomenclature things in your life is a huge deal in my opinion. It's like calling a set of new golf clubs an "investment", well that's a pretty shitty "investment" because it's not an investment at all if it can't appreciate, it's an "expense".

Dude is almost stuck now, he will have endless fame if he holds until most people are getting out; but is it worth it? If he sells now, people will hate him. Tough spot.

Multi-millionaire villain though
I had 10 shares at $120, missed going big on that initial dip to the $60-70s. Got out a few at $400 last week to break even.
Then decided to get all the way out of GME today at $275. So overall turned $1200 into $3100 over a week. It was a fun ride, and wished I had gone bigger earlier. Still have a few shares of BB and AMC, which I’m fine holding long term if necessary.

I'm assuming he likes streaming and wants to continue to do that for the foreseeable future. His streaming career is dead if he exits now.
He could probably exit after the price goes down a bit more and the "fight" is over. He gets to still be a hero, has already banked nearly 14 million and even if the price plummets he can still exit with a few mill in addition to what he's already taken.
Would you rather have 40 mil and be seen worldwide as a sellout villian or at 20 mil and be seen as the hero who "went down with the ship"? Got to keep in mind every knows dfv's name and face now.

Go figure, the three stocks I bought suggested by AT are green at the end of the day and my GME and AMC is in the red. Now I have to decide if I want to bail tomorrow and cut my losses or HODL and see what happens. My losses are pennies in reality.

I honestly didn't even think of this angle, and you are absolutely right. We know his name, his face, his family's faces, and where he lives. That's a whole layer of additional concerns. There is some crazy people out there; probably a few that are putting money they cant afford to lose into this because they don't know what they are doing.
