I mean, with his position, no point not just seeing what happens. $33M or $47M, i'd be fine either way

No this was Robinhood liquidating someone against their consent at the lowest price of the day. It was a reasonably substantial position too for your average retail trader.

That’s crappy situation.

Did the poster mention or show what his margin/equity percentage was before they blew out his position? I know that a lot of brokerages have drastically increased their margin requirements on some of the “Reddit stocks” to as high as 100% and used that to generate margin calls. Just curious where he was on the percentage scale.

Set a ladder of limit sell orders and just sit back and watch. I am going to start selling in increments starting at $500. If we cross $1,000 I am unloading everything.

I previously sold enough to cover my investment so I think I'm in a similar boat to Azazello. If things start going up, I may just sell one or two shares at a time, with each one being pure profit. Otherwise, we ride to the crash.

I'm still quite intrigued by the ridiculous spike to 490ish.

Only Google shows that, it didn't flash there. Here's the TDA chart

How does it get there with no one able to buy? Just off the expiring options?

Yes but that's assuming a ton of those positions weren't closed today.

Any way for anyone to have any confidence in that after the shite show today?

hard for me to at this point.

What they did to get GME down to 112 was the equivalent of a defense putting 17 players on the field for a half and the refs telling the offense “Looks like 12 players to me”

that's a perfect analogy.

Back in the day when your controller would get pulled out and someone would do like a 5 hit combo on you while you scramble to put it back in.

That's pretty fricking amazing.
People keep saying "easier to do when you have already secured millions."...uh, he stands to lose the most from this. 13 mil unrealized loss today and he didn't flinch
