Very likely. When the yield curve uninverts, a recession generally starts 6-12 months later. The curve uninverted in September so we're right in the early part of that window. The big issue going forward is that the Fed doesn't have much room to fight off a recession with rate reductions unless they want to see inflation continue to rise even more than it has been.

His interview on Fox yesterday wasn't very inspiring. Was ill-prepared and when asked about clarity with regard to tariffs it was near Kamal level word salad.
As LSU Russian said last week-"we have the best recessions",

What would y'all do with say an extra 20k? Already DCA'ing into this current market every two weeks via 401k contributions. Lump sum all 20 into my brokerage but who knows when we are at the bottom of this thing? Thinking of just throwing into my MM account which is at least making 4%.

Do you think free trade would be a benefit to USA economy? If not, that would be the only reason you could think he has done a rug pull.

And everything trump has been doing has been to get to that goal. How is it a rug pull when that is what he said he would do?

Bro, do you think canada putting tariffs on USA products coming into Canada helps USA businesses make more sales?

I think we can agree that the answer is "no." Canada (and all other countries other than Argentina) are putting tariffs on USA products. So for USA business to have more success, the USA would like those countries to remove those tariffs. We have asked and they said no. So what do you do now? Do you just accept it keep wishing in one hand or do you leverage your power to get the other countries to drop the tariffs?

When the other countries drop their tariffs, they all go away with reciprocity EXCEPT tariffs on Mexico and Canada due to them not securing their border.

Have you been whining to those other countries to drop their tariffs? If not, why not?

This isn't a very complicated subject. What part is still not making sense?
