It's my first Rolex and yes most expensive purchase to date. I am going to pass on any investment advice as this honestly was a want for a long time and the stars all aligned at the same time in making this happen.
Just an interesting side note the original Rolex dealer and sale was in Hong Kong it could be that the owner was British, not that it matters much but history is part of the package.

Nice purchase. I have a white dial explorer II and thinking about upgrading to a platinum yacht master. Curious what yours is worth? The original paperwork package probably adds $750-$1000 to your value.
