I got in on one of the pumps and dumped it that day after making a couple hundred bucks. Then I did some research on the company and quickly realized that it’s management was a complete crapshow. Have avoided even looking at it at all costs to make sure I didn’t get sucked in again and end up trying to hold long term.

"management" is a problem that can be fixed ....

it really comes down to whether NKLA's technology is real or just futures.

Hydrogen fuel cell (HFC)technology has been defined for awhile now, with no real major developments in many years.

I've been bullish on the idea of HFC technology for many years. I was an early investor in Ballard Power Systems in 1997 as they made a run at using hydrogen fuel cell technology, with a goal of targeting the wearable device and automotive/marine markets.

But Ballard, like nearly all Hydrogen Fuel Cell tech companies, has never produced a consistent profit.

I'm waiting to see the "technology breakthough" in HFC technology ... the company that does that will be the big winner.

One of the recent developments was a nanotech base metal catalyst that performed like platinum. Of course, those kinds of developments often find a long road from the lab to the factory.

I'm still optimistic on fuel cells simply because there are so many different types with some that offer amazingly high efficiency.

Dude seemed like a toolbag. He wasn’t very professional and cursed in almost every interview when a tough question came up. I think if the company will every succeed, it’s better off without him.

when they opened up pre orders, they had pics of the truck. The interior was CGI. The other pictures had different tire threads on each truck yet they all said BFG All Terrains. which none of the treads were that. I found it humorous.

I’ve been way out of the loop on this. Just read this long article on Trevor Milton, this is definitely a Theranos 2.0 in the making. Wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up in the clink

Nikola’s Trevor Milton left a trail of bitterness on his way to founding the electric-truck startup
