Can anyone recommend a business/jeweler in BR or NO that buys Rolex watches? I don’t expect retail price but looking for somebody that would pay around 75% of retail so they have room to make money on it but I still get a reasonable amount on the sale.

There was a guy here looking to buy one. Maybe he'll buy it?

Dealers will low ball you and make up all kinds of excuses to why they can't even give you 75% of value. Watch market is crumbling right now by the week it seems. Nothing is selling on the secondary market. Its all going to depend on the model.

The price of used Rolex and Patek Philippe watches fell to fresh two-year lows last month as demand for the luxury timepieces continues to wane amid rising supply.

The Bloomberg Subdial Watch Index, which tracks prices of the 50 most traded watches on the secondary market, dropped 1.8 percent in October to around $34,000.

It is at its lowest level since 2021, and down 42 percent since a near $60,000 peak in April 2022.

I’ve bought and sold over 6 figures with Thanh. Excellent service, well known in the luxury watch space, always overnight shipping insured. Prompt wires.

I haven't sold anything with Thanh, but did purchase a watch from him. Smooth transaction all around and great service.

Lately he’s been picky toward the higher end pieces but that was when prices were higher. If OP is selling something more than 5 years old, Thanh may not want it. Check out LunarOyster, BobsWatches, etc

I honestly appreciate the comments and interest. It’s an Explorer II. But I am not really interested in trying to find a way to meet up with folks on a message board. I was hoping to find a shop I could simply sell it to. It’s been sitting in a drawer for a few years. If market it bad now I’ll just keep it.

Email me if you want. Lnobles@redstickag.com.

My brother in law has a jewelry store and regularly deals in Rolex’s. He’s always happy to take a look at what you have and treat your fairly.
