Targeting taking initial investment out with plans to rebuy OUST on next -5-10% day. Curious of your thoughts.
Wish I had taken my own advice, hindsight 20/20 per usual

I sold shares near break even.
Enough to buy ten $50 strike February calls.
Paid 20.20

I’ve posted here before asking if anyone has developed a system for identifying a company prime for a secondary, especially if they are growing but not yet profitable (i.e. need more cash for ops). Like, if cash on-hand falls below a certain ratio of quarterly expense, expect a secondary offering soon.
They had good runway with 165mm cash. Break even next year…
I think (hope) they’re going hunting.

Sold my CCXI for 50% profit and used the funds for a 1/27 $50c

And now CCXI is running again

Ended up with 19 of the February $50s at a $19.84 average.
This was such a silly day across the board, and one that I think will soon be forgotten.
Just think about this.
Ouster got institutions to jump on board for $55 per share while the average price over the past 50 days is $37.69
Better days ahead…
It’s not like we weren’t all agreeing that $49-50 would be a needed correction.
And would you look at that…

I’ve been following this one and what you highlighted reminds me a lot of nebius in the fall. They sold to institutions at $95 and then consolidated around that level for quite a while before breaking out. I made some decent money selling puts and covered calls during that period, may do the same thing here with OUST (assuming it doesn’t just break out)

I’m glad to get my exposure back in. My 8/21 $50cc may get called away. But I’m now in on a 1/27 call. I was kicking myself over not having any extra shares on that run up. shite day for my account the last 2 days but I’ve spent a lot of money to reload on the dips! It’s nice to be down 15% over 2 days and be happy!

From what I understand, Angus really just started talking this way.

I think 49-50 is the new hard floor to watch for.
That will be my entry point when it touches again.
