I have 2 8/21 50s I am thinking of unloading today. Will buy shares with it on a slight pull back.

Market has me feeling like a complete dumbass today.

Sold long calls a day early,
Sold short calls a day early.

I can’t give advice because the market is being irrationally exuberant with robotics names right now.

This is similar to the quantum run at the end of 2024.

AMBA is up over 30% today!!

This is getting njuts. OUST up 50% in two days.

Does AMBA have more juice left than OUST? It’s only ip 36% in two days.

SYM
ARBE
CGNX

Those probably have most juice if you’re catching momentum

I have basically no OUST exposure after selling my calls yesterday. My shares are all basically gone with my 8/21cc unless we have a major pullback.

What’s the play? For once, I do have a good bit of dry powder. Wait for a pullback then $60 Jan calls?

Roll up and out on the 8/21 for a minimal debit or credit.

It’s $50 strike?

August is still a looong time away for a stock like OUST…

Sounds pretty good.

Or sell cash secured puts

You still made profits. What goes up, must come down. Eventually...

Dear Diary,
I moved two $65 strike 7/17s out to $75 strike 8/21s today.

I received $30 in premium from the deal.

I’m wayyy under water on my $70 January and my $70 8/21s

I’ll just wait it out.
Made $300 today on a day trade.
Four $65 8/21s (12.05 —> 12.80)

I may just have to keep doing this since my shares aren’t really making me any money right now as the calls essentially cancel all gains….unless I can get theta on my side through time or price action one.

It feels great to pick another serious winner. I never dreamed we’d be at $63 by June. That was my end of year hope if the re rating became complete.

That said, this valuation is probably too rich, but that’s what the market is assigning relative to sales, and the market is never wrong.

I’m hoping there’s some way for me to wiggle out of these capped gains, but I don’t think going long calls for anything more than a trade is the way to do it.

A reversion to the mean will occur, but we have no idea when. The good news is that the new higher low, could be $50, which is oustanding!

CCXI really got X fired up.
…and OUST was near the top of everyone’s robotics list.

I underestimated the significance of the first pure play humanoid company going public. I did not anticipate these kinds of moves. It’s pretty silly. But…it can get sillier.

I’m disappointed in the way I played this, but all in all, I can’t be mad about my progress after the NBIS meltdown.

Bayou I sold my shares today for a 100% gain. Thanks for the recommendation. If it ever pulls back again I will buy more but for the rest of you good luck going to the moon!

Silly meaning it can go ever higher due to exuberance.

But look at that chart. Any rational understanding says it consolidates to $50 to $55.

But I can’t buy puts.
