I can do with a dead cat bounce tomorrow

For real though, this market is tough to figure out right now.
I think stock talk said it best: We're just struggling to price memory...scared that we've overpaid. And everything seems to be downhill from memory, especially the entire AI hardware trade (NBIS and OUST are in it).
The market needs reassurance.

Can earnings provide it yet again?!

An update on my daily trading.

Baby woke me up at 3am. Checked the Asian markets and saw they were in shambles.

Decided (for better or worse) I wanted to bite the bullet and take the loss I already had in NBIS and NBIL rather than letting it ride into today. Sold out of both in pre-market trading. Took at 3k loss, but saved me another $4.5k in losses I would have taken today (yes I understand realized vs unrealized

That freed up 35k for me. Today I took a chunk of that and got back into OUST. Now have 600 shares at an average price of 43.50.

I think I’m done chasing and trading for a while. Just going to let what I have sit and see where the chips fall over the next month. I’m tired boss

I can, but I’m not nearly as good at this as you are

Im a CPA who spent years working in B4 audit. So I understand how to really read and interpret 10-Qs, 10-K, 8-Ks, etc. My degrees is school were dual degrees: accounting and financial economics, with a concentration in behavioral economics.

Lmk when you have it

Sell me on why I should put a buy order for 20 shares of HONA at $240 rn
It’s worth giving HONA a look now that’s dropping. Wait to see where the dust settles. I wouldn’t go big at all. This is a small opening position with a DCA approach , and you would have to understand this is a position to hold long

I stopped chasing a while back. It doesnt matter where NBIS is today, or tomorrow, or next week... Just know that it will be at an ATH within the next 2-3 months. As BB88 has pointed out, they are on track to have $40B in revenue in a a few years, so what do you think the stock price is going to do?

I think OUST is on the same trajectory, but I dont have full confidence in it, yet. I'm getting there, though.

You admit that publicly?

J/K - I will date myself and way i have worked for 4 of the Big 6 in audit over the years. The skillset does have some usefulness :)

It wasn’t my favorite time, but it helped me build a solid foundation, and as you said, some pretty useful skills.

When you spend years reviewing/drafting financial reports, you get pretty decent at finding the spots where companies hide the good info as well as the bad

I’m not even in the same universe as you guys with regards to stock knowledge but one thing I do know something about is HONA (Formerly HON…27 years worth to be exact). They are hoping for the same thing to happen to their stock as happened to GE aviation stock after the business split… but it’s not going to happen.
They lost a contract for the Army’s next helicopter to Boeing a few years back and that was what will be the beginning of the end for them. Real talent has retired, been hired away and the company is basically in shambles living on a prayer and it’s overhaul business of the AGT-1500 tank engine.
Throw in an entire upper level of H1-B types and I only see things getting worse, or so I hear from sources.
GE aviation would be the better long hold play here, if aviation is your play.

Just my dos centavos

Edit Had not looked at GE aerospace in quite some time…holy cow…was in the 400’s just a year or so ago. 8-0 )

Yeah, GEa and GEv have taken off like a rocket

I don’t expect HONA to have the same level of trajectory, at least not in the short term. I knew they had some work to do, and your post shed some more insight into that. Management noted they were going to be going though some major business overhauls over the next year or two. In the meantime I assumed they would limp along at a low steady pace, relying on their backlog and maintenance/repair earning (their higher margins earning line) until they got their feet back under them.
