Non market or real estate related investments?

I see people invest in silver gold etc but mainly on an etf. Does anyone here ever buy physical minerals or high value goods? Like watches, art, or other misc?
I have roughly 50% market, 40% real estate, 10% cash but want to use the cash on alternative since I’m expecting more cash eoy.

What are you exceptionally knowledgeable about?
I’d tread real lightly on getting into collectibles like watches or art unless I was a true subject area expert

Agree with NoSaint here.
Stay away from collectables unless you are well versed in subject matter. Also on those things, if crap hits the fan will you be able to find buyers for it. If things are really bad economically it might a little hard to unload those items. I do have bullion. You just want somewhere to store securely.
