Netflix is raising prices. If you have Netflix will you cancel over this price increase?

Obviously the rate hike is pure profit for netflix if very few people cancel due to the rate hike.
Just curious to hear what percentage of you will cancel over rate hike.
EDIT:
Appears that most people missed the point of the post.
I wasn't complaining about netflix raising prices, I've never had netflix.
I was considering purchasing netflix stock and wanted to get a feel for what percentage of netflix customers would cancel due to the price increase.
If 99 percent of customers aren't going to cancel then netflix will have a nice boost in revenue with the flick of a switch.
I'm not some retard fretting about the price increase, I'm about making money off of the price increase.

I'd like to hear your reasoning on the price increase being 100% profit. A ~10.7% increase since Oct 2020 doesn't sound too out of line when I compare it to the price increases of other things in this world since that date.

Everything else has gone up in price. What’s the big deal?
And how much do you get paid to be a troll on this site?

It’s like $2/month more. I spend way more than that on stupid crap like games on my phone every month. It’s not a big deal and no I will not be canceling. There is still a lot of value to me and my family.

Not by choice. It depends on whose account I use decides.

I assume you've been under a rock and haven't noticed the insane inflation we're experiencing right now.

I have gotten in the habit of turning all these streaming services off auto-renew every month. You'd be surprised how little you really need each individual one. Of course when there's something new on a specific purchase I buy without guilt, but a pretty easy way to save a hundred or two a year.

I'm probably going to cancel but not because of the price hike. I used to never watch TV and pretty much only watch Netflix (outside of sports). Now it's the other way around since their content is much more limited, and I am not going to buy every streaming service. Seems like we're going backwards.

No, I will not cancel. I’d skip a meal out once a month before I cancelled this. I get way more enjoyment out of a month of Netflix than that meal.

Who or what isn't raising prices?

I'd like to see a yoy comparison with price increase. I'd assume their margin will remain around the same.
I'll still have Netflix after the price increase....honestly didn't even read the email I probably got about it.

If you look around, almost all of the streaming services are having increases. So I’d imagine most those that do leave over the increase, will eventually come back.
IMO, where you were wrong is assuming the increase would be a pure profit increase. Just like everyone else, they are seeing an increase in operating costs (salaries, benefits, insurance, consultants…) and are increasing accordingly.

Seems like you should've led with a question about purchasing the stock rather than asking if some folks on the money board would cancel the service.

I didn't miss the point. You changed the point. Your original point was about profit and asking if we were going to cancel.

No because I’m waiting on season 6 of Peaky Blinders to be released

Netflix and Disney+ keep my 4 year occupied. A few extra dollars a month is still worth it. I cut the cord over 6 years ago so I have saved well over $120/month. Can pay a few extra…..

I am cancelling. Not because of the price hike. We had decided to cancel anyway. We have Prime and Hulu. We just don't need 3 services.
ETA: I had already cancelled Cable a year ago. They were far too arrogant in their rising prices and forcing me to take 35.0 shopping networks, plus all that other shite I didn't care aboot, like CNN and MSNBC.
