As of April 15, 2026, Nebius Group (NBIS) has approximately 43.63 million shares sold short, representing roughly 17.33% to 20.73% of the public float. Short interest increased by 3.01% in the latest report, with a short interest ratio of 2.19–2.5 days to cover. This high short interest indicates potential for a short squeeze
Per Google AI.
This is outside my knowledge base. Do we think this might be a thing?

I trimmed about 10% of my NBIS to make a bit more room in my portfolio for OUST. This is the first I've sold on any of my NBIS since the end of last summer.
Ooof. Yall are welcome, I guess.

It's a reddit rumor so take this with a grain of salt but Blackrock is set to announce a partnership at the end of the week with an AI company to build datacenters and people think it's Nebius.

Nothing more on the Middle East rumor. 20% short interest seems to be causing conversation though.

I’m happy!
I used to hold over 1,000 shares in Roth alone plus a lot of options. At my peak, 1,800 shares could have been had.
A lot of that vanished unfortunately as I continued to convert shares into options and the stock tanked considerably.
Still thankful to hold a few hundred shares so one day we may have considerable wealth on NBIS alone when it’s $1500/share, but that’s a ways off.
Have been able to stack a lot of OUST and a moderate MRLN position as of late.
Ready for take off on those for sure!
Also, I sold my NBIS $100 2028 call for a mere double and left a lot on the table!!
Lessons learned. Thankfully, I’m still hopeful.

Honestly that doesn’t sound like NBIS’s business model. That sounds Ike building a data center and then leasing compute to whomever needs it.
That sounds like a Coreweave
But this not my field.

Back in the early days of covid is when I started checking the money broad semi-frequently if not daily. Unfortunately there isn't a crash course or FAQ section for each individual board, because when I first started Ancient Tiger was at the height of all his recommendations. Nobody told me he was a farce. He seemed so wise and so adamant that he was correct. I spent so much on stupid arse stocks that I thought I was on the ground floor of that would go somewhere only to pretty much sell at a major loss on every one of them.
All of that to say....thank you BB88 and Nebius for being the anti-AT. Looks like the sky's the limit here!

I tried to warn people i was made into a board villain and subject to memes and all that shite.
On a smaller scale, had a similar thing with fastly - but my longest drag out was definitely LVVV

It's easy to get caught up in the trendy picks, and I'll admit, I've got a little reserve that I throw at some stocks that are rumored to be ready to pop, but for any significant percentage of my portfolio, I do my own due diligence.
I was actually drawn to this board because I had started a position on NBIS and noticed this thread. I increased my investment and stuck with it, because of this board.

Your track record on calling out BS on this board over the years is kinda... legendary

Not buying more of this when i first bought in at $17, or DCAing it the last year is easily the biggest regret in my life. It's the one time I legitimately nailed the timing of a stock and I went in small because I had been burned too many times.

And here we go.......
NVIDIA and IREN Announce Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Deployment of up to 5 Gigawatts of AI Infrastructure
NEW YORK and SANTA CLARA, May 07, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) and IREN Limited (NASDAQ: IREN) (“IREN”) today announced a strategic partnership to accelerate deployment of next-generation AI infrastructure.
As part of the partnership:
•NVIDIA and IREN intend to support deployment of up to 5 gigawatts of NVIDIA DSX-aligned AI infrastructure across IREN’s global data center pipeline over time.
•NVIDIA and IREN will collaborate on deployment of NVIDIA accelerated compute in DSX AI factories to expand access to AI-native, startup and enterprise customers.
•As part of the partnership, IREN issued to NVIDIA a five-year right to purchase up to 30 million shares of ordinary stock at an exercise price of $70 per share, resulting in a right to invest up to $2.1 billion, subject to certain conditions including regulatory.
The partnership is intended to accelerate deployment of large-scale AI factories by combining NVIDIA’s DSX AI factory architecture with IREN’s expertise across power, land, data centers, GPU deployment and infrastructure operations.
Future deployments are expected to focus on IREN’s 2-gigawatt Sweetwater campus in Texas, which the companies expect to serve as a flagship deployment for NVIDIA’s DSX architecture.
“AI factories are becoming foundational infrastructure for the global economy,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “Deploying these systems at scale requires deep integration across the full stack — compute, networking, software, power and operations. IREN brings the scale and infrastructure expertise to help accelerate the buildout of next-generation AI infrastructure globally. Together, we are building for the age of AI.”
“This partnership combines NVIDIA’s AI systems and architecture leadership with IREN’s expertise across power, land, data centers, GPU deployment and infrastructure operations,” said Daniel Roberts, cofounder and co-CEO of IREN. “Together, we believe we can accelerate deployment of AI infrastructure and expand access to compute for AI-native and enterprise customers globally.”
