Day traders and market makers. Options.

have a CC at 120 expiring 3/27. I thought for sure it was gone and set a new one at 170 (4/17) yesterday with a nice premium. I am not familiar with rolling into a new higher call on the 120. Can you explain how you would handle. Do not want to lose my 100 shares.
Are you opposed to buying it back?

I will wait for this thing to price in terms of conversion price (we know interest rate will be neglible) but the beauty of these is they effectively are either a stock sale at a significant future premium if we have appreciation or a very low interest loan if the stock does not appreciate. They really are the best of both worlds financing wise. Any 'dilution' comes into play after significant appreciation has occurred given the conversion feature is generally out of the money at inception. And they may engage in a capped call to even mute that somewhat.
I’m guessing $174

Do Roths sell slower? My voo is listed for sale $1 under bid and still sitting there! I need the capital for NBIS!

You may have to wait on market open?

No I would buy more today if I had dry powder. NBIS is my largest position in my portfolio with 400 shares. I was thinking of letting it be called and buy back with the proceeds but I was wondering if it makes since to roll out and up at a higher price. I have always been comfortable letting calls go and I have never rolled out before and not sure if it is the thing to do. Of course I could let it ride and if it stays under 120 on the 27th it works out good for me and I may have dry powder to buy more at that time.

That's how it felt at $116.
I think we close above $122. We'll see.

In years past I would have gone all in on 3/20 $120 calls right about now, which is why I'm broke.

I thought about that, as well. Looks like we're giving back every bit of the money we made yesterday. I'm not surprised, but this is ridiculous.

Given that I'm not surprised, I don't think it will surprise anyone if there is also a bounce back, either this afternoon, or in the next few days. Hence, the temptation to by a 3/20 $120.

Well I just traded 12.3 shares of VOO for 42 shares of NBIS and 500 of HGRAF. LFGO!

I went to add five more 120s for 320 at two bucks, but it never hit (agin keeping damn tiny after fall debacle).

I may end up buying back my 100 1/27s i sold yesterday - this seems like a gift
