First, META didn’t beat earnings, not by a long shot. They blamed it on overspend near term capital for future growth and profits
Secondly, it’s not all about earnings. Guidance and future statements matter. MSFT also had a big outage yesterday which didn’t help
Lastly, companies like NBIS who beat their earnings, give guidance on future deals and open up a monster FY %increase will always go way up.

Also, just heard from the VP of Sales, Nebius is bringing on 8 new senior AEs….hired a firm to find them talent

Nothing. I'm trying to live vicariously through you and NOT actually do any wheeling and dealing on my own. Sometimes I fail and do something stupid. Not stupid because it's a bad idea, but stupid because I don't have time to pay attention all day, and poor execution will undoubtedly turn a great profit into a loss...

Just realized I got the numbers backwards. The IREN was $1.33 and the NBIS was $1.50. Oh well. They are both green now. Probably put in a sell order for $3 bucks IREN and $5 for NBIS.

I had a little screw up this morning. I went to sell 500 shares of NBIS right after the opening bell, and entered 500, but then clicked the shares that I wanted to sell, which happened to be from a lot of 1500 that I had purchased in September. When I selected the lot, it wiped out the 500 and selected the entire lot. I was trying to get to some options and didn't notice until the transaction went through, like an idiot. I turned around and bought back the 1000 shares that I didn't want to sell. Well, turns out that in the 90 seconds between the two transactions, the price went down by $1.30ish, and I actually made money off the screw up.
