I was getting worried about a few 10/17 and 1031 calls yesterday and set a close price for a small profit. I have a few 11/21 calls and more 12/19 calls that sitting at a nice profit. Would like to sell a few on a pop this morning and go into next year for a few calls. Do you set a price premarket not knowing what the price will do or do you wait until it opens to decide.

Just curious, why not keep those or at least roll to higher strikes on same dates?

I, personally, always wait until it opens and see what she’s gonna do. With this, and most high growth stocks, you can usually count on a big bounce at opening…so if you really are going to sell, try and do it near the opening at the height of the peak

I personally prefer to see what the market is gonna do before pulling the trigger. I will set a limit price on a purchase, or sale, but I usually do that during the day.

Order FILLED on 11/21 130c for 78% gain since 10/07. She’ll probably keep ramping but pricing was starting to get tight.
Will be looking for entry into the 11/21 150c with that money now.
ETA: and of course she blows past my exit point.

I have turned 900 into a touch under 3k in a couple weeks with options. I do understand it is not always like this, but I feel comfortable putting it back in action if we get a pullback at all, I just have to be patient enough to wait for the right opportunity. I generally buy and sell too quick.
