I want to start on Netflix paper right away as I don't know my work schedule for next week. But the problem is that professor will not make HBR paper available until next week.
Is there any body in the forum who already has it and can share ? Name of the paper is "Netflix Inc.: The Second Act - Moving into Streaming".
Unfortunately, they usually cycle case studies each term. Plus Darrat has only taught one session of this course in the last year, so best option if you need it early is to bust our your credit card and go buy it from HBR.

I think I have this if you want it. Give me an email.

I have to say that the whole TurnItIn Check is annoying. The assignment notes for MKT 705 indicate that you need to wait 24-36 hours for TurnItIn report generation... and after that you have to post it to the forum, which takes another 30 minutes.
I still have a lot of time for the current case analysis, but anyone waiting till the last minute could potentially get screwed by an extended TurnItIn generation. Frankly, I'm lucky that I started early, as I didn't even know that it could take that long. Is a really long delay common?

I've found that the TurnItIn check usually takes around 30-90 minutes or so.

Lucky me getting all qualitative questions on my first FIN701 exam.

On a scale of 1-10 how hard were the qualitative questions? I’m trying to decide if I am going to take the exam today or tomorrow.

FIN 701 - I had 9 qualitative questions...yikes! Glad the first one is over. Hopefully, I'll be better prepared next exam.

I'd say a 7 or 8. I hope he's generous with partial credit.

He's the self proclaimed "king" of partial credit. I need him to live up to his rep after test 1.

I love how the practice work was 100% quantitative, the reading was 80% quantitative, the Zoom videos were 90% quantitative (and 10% about Cuervo margarita mix and football), and yet I had 7 qualitative questions. Sounds like many of you had it even worse.
I felt like the past two weeks of study focused on learning Spanish, only to test us on our knowledge of Chinese.

I'd agree with that, although I had one that particularly a bit of an abstract mindbender.
Also, I needed almost every second of the 60 minutes just to figure out how to answer these things in a clear way for the "king of partial credit."
Now I'm off to write my weekly 1700 words for MADM 701...

Vines is the "known entity", up until now, I thought that was a good thing but I'm not connecting with all the hype, especially after that first exam and those zoom sessions. Those exam questions were a Cuervo buzz inspired scatter gun draw from his module 1 ramblings, which also seemed to be Cuervo inspired.
I was spoiled with Dr. Shaughnessy's Zoom sessions, they were actually valuable. I attended Vines' first session and he didn't want to reveal "too much" until others had a chance to "catch up", whatever that means, a total waste of time.

How are Darrat’s MKT701 exams? The only info available in the syllabus is that they’re multiple choice, based on the prior week’s topics (slides), closedbook and we must use Proctorio. Any additional insight?

My plan for the next exam is to type out all definitions in the reading in my own words into a Word doc. Then I can pull info from that document, paste into the exam, and reword/rework the definitions as needed.
I wasted a lot of time putting everything into my own words. Hoping by doing it this way, I'll save a little time.

It was hard for me to put some of the things into my own words. I’m curious if he really takes off.

Are the tests not standardized? Seeing people posting they had different numbers of question types. Is this just a Vines things or normal across all classes?

Test questions are pulled from a bank and are randomized. Each student has a unique exam.
