At 4:00 of this youtube video it explains the mechanism of the spring drive. Holy shite that thing is awesome. An electromagnetic brake ensures the mainspring unwinds at the correct rate. Mind blown. The style isn't my thing, but I'd love to own one if those movements.

Lee Michael's has a classic collection. 2500 for a newer submariner.

The spring drive is pretty amazing and the Japanese styling is unique. You can tell a watch enthusiast immediately as once they spot the Ananta they want to hold it and watch the action.

Gaston, what watch was that you posted back on page 5? I know nothing about watches but that is sharp and looks great.
