I don't understand the love for those 60 minute bezels. You need that shite?

To me it's useless and I don't want useless shite on an otherwise very complex work of art.

This just looks more business end (sharp).

Like bamboo on an iphone or tricked out shite on a truck? Yeah, totally useless. I've used the 60 minute bezel hundreds of times. For numerous things

Sounds like you need that shite then. I put bamboo on the phone so I could take it apart. I love the complexity of the system and the design architecture behind smartly created devices. And plus, it gets my blood flowing to take apart a new phone. I can't wait for the iPhone 6 and some reason to take it apart. Probably shy away from bamboo on the next one.

I mostly use it for cooking. Then again, I'm an idiot.

Now I know what to think...dudes with kitchen timers on their wrist.

I still can't believe I have to wait until the end of February to get the watch I just bought. Dammit. I still search the WUS adds like I'm in the market.

Onion crowns...is this just a classic flieger thing? I had to pass on a few watches since they have those dumb looking things.

I'd spend some time researching which style you want, there are so many options with a Rolex.

This is how I got my Tag Heuer. I mentioned in passing that I'd like to own a nice watch one day, but not a Rolex. At the time, Tag was the brand that was most recognizable to me, so I told the wife I'd rather own a Tag than a Rolex. A few months later for our anniversary, I was getting her ring reset, so she surprised me with

She paid too much for it (bought at a local jewelry store), but I love it, and will keep it forever. In a few years, I'd like to add an Omega or Breitling to my repertoire. Something with a silver/white face, but that's a few years down the road.

Yea, I think you just need to look and look and see what strikes a cord with you. You'll find something cooler than Rolex if you put in any effort whatsoever. There are some amazing watch makers out there. Even from a single watch house the things that are produced are unbelievably different.
