here's my view on where we're headed:

the low volume will continue to push the price down. until either someone runs a pump and dump play on it. if you watch volume you'll see a spike when they buy in. Then you basically wait for the next big thing whatever it is and that's the pump get out while it's going up screw trying to guess the top.

Then it'll collapse but all this depends on when they go into bankruptcy. if it doesn't last to be a pump and dump target it'll go bankrupt.

Then what matters is how they recorded what they did with all the money from investors. If they're lets say dishonest instead of stupid the investors are left with nothing and the CEO is kicking it on the ranch while his friends have been paid all the cash out in salaries and favorable "supply" deals. Then bill is on to the next "company" to do the same.

Varies wildly with microcaps as so many can be closely held... that is a pretty low float, but still dwarfs volume. Also there are 200 million unrestricted not considered part of the float (affiliates and such), those could go at anytime too.

quote:

2. Is this why the SP keeps dipping down? LVVV selling these float shares for $$ at any price?

No, LVVV does not sell the float. The float are free trading shares held by people like you that are not affiliates of LVVV.

The price is going down because of what you have seen in this thread over the past several month. Look at how many longs that have decided that LVVV is basically a smoke screen and will never make it. They make a choice of cutting bait. That adds supply of shares. Think of it this way... lets say you were 100% sure the stock would be worth $0.0000 tomorrow. Guaranteed, no questions asked. What would you take for the shares today? Anything. What would someone be willing to pay? Nothing. Any trade would be at real low volume and for basically nothing.

That is what is happening here, just not at the absolute I just stated. When you bought in, the market cap of the Company suggested that it was worth $50 million. That means, in theory that future earnings discounted back (at a huge risky premium) are expected to be that. Do you think they will make hundreds of millions? Probably not it sounds like so you are not likely to pay that. But maybe you think $20 million is right... or $10 million etc..

What is happening here is the hope for that future income is blowing up for a lot of people. People are not believing Hodson and are figuring out that someone with no money, no experience and a poor business history cant snap his fingers, fill out a few applications and have a multi million operation. It doesn't work like that. If it did, you guys should go lease a piece of land for a few grand, hire a failed horticulturist and do it yourselves.

So unlike real companies, these can be like a light switch. Once you realize it is fake, you tend to want to get out at any cost. Some don't and hold out for a certain price, but a lot just say forget about it. At the same time, outside the core believer accumulaters become less and less.

It all depends. If you think Hodson is telling the truth and Dad is right, stay the ground.

If you think it is hocus pocus, but he has the ability to create atleast one good pump and dump then you may want to wait for that.

If you think the market is on to him... liquidation as soon as practical may make sense. It is an individual decision.

He can still move the market a little (ie it jumped 20-30% on the revenue disclosure) but the long term momentum is clear. 6 months ago, people would have expected the stock to skyrocket on revenue like that... but the market as a whole for cannabis stocks has changed and the credibility of LVVV is next to nothing.

quote:

Personally, I think they have abandoned the idea of seeking an up-list.

Yeah I think you are on to something which is really amazing as an uplift is so freaking easy... if you are not lying. But as I noted, he likely is.

Never mind getting audited by someone who knows what he is doing, the first firm he tried to hire was the remnants of a banned firm, then the one that did issue the financials had probably the worst regulatory review report of any firm in the past several years. And they still banished all revenue from the years they audited!

It takes five seconds for someone that knows what they are doing to see the obvious. Ironically, the Dads of the world will say that it is irrelevant that the accounting is obviously false... as long as there is revenue which we will just believe is what they post. LOL. It is amazing.

I am telling you, LVVV is a classic penny stock 101 class for people if they open their eyes to it... and it is only going to get better from here (in terms of entertainment).

Do y’all see these companies surviving or being absorbed once the regulations ease enough for tobacco and pharmaceutical companies to come in and take over the market?

Legit companies, like CGC, CRON, will survive, otherwise, they would not have gotten multi-billion dollar investments from larger companies. Shitty companies, like LVVV, will not.

Anyone know why NXTTF has risen 75% this week since it's open on Monday?

I'm not mad at it; just curious why the 3 days of consistent up for a change.

I was coming to ask the same question. Who is buying up this stock and pushing it up +15% each day this week?

FWIW, this is why I just hold onto it now. The downside to $0 is a lot less than the realization of losses from selling my position...so I'll just keep holding with the far out chance this gets acquired or hits gold.

I think it has a chance to be a decent stock. I'd love for it to get back to ~$3 but if it gets north of $2, I'd probably sell anyway. If they get the license for edibles, it definitely has a shot to get back there again.

WOW, they busted a guy for Manipulating LVVV stock price!!!!

quote:

United States Attorney William M. McSwain announced that Dino Paolucci, 41, of Mississauga, Ontario, entered a plea of guilty to four counts of securities fraud before United States District Judge Eduardo C. Robreno.

The charges resulted from the defendant’s participation in a scheme to manipulate the price and trading volume of the stocks of LiveWire Ergogenics (“LVVV”), YaFarm Technologies (“YFRM”), Resource Ventures (“REVI”), and Medical Cannabis Payment Solutions (“REFG”). This type of scheme is commonly referred to as a “pump-and-dump.”

ETA: Looks like LVVV was made aware of the investigation and said as much during a Janurary press release. Today was the announcement of the guilty plea.

Basically, this guy pumped up the stock price, probably all the way to its high of 8 cents then dumped it all the way down. Great timing with Canada legalization. I'm just a sucker that bought the pump. Hopefully this fricker goes to jail.

Like, who is buying LVVV stock today? Basically nobody, the volume has been infinitesimal since the pumper left back in early January. I'm assuming that he was done in January when he came under investigation by the FBI.

I'm wondering if the FBI will start poking their noses around LVVV's books and what they'll find.

I'd really like Tiger Dad's response.
Either he got robbed like the rest of us or he was in on it.
