As many of you astute investors know, there have been some major gains in the marijuana sector. The implied sentiments are that the sector will continue to spike until around 17 OCT, which is when weed will be legal in Canada. Probably looking at a pullback shortly after or even before then

I got in around April. I currently hold CRON, CGC, and APH. CGC will be my long term hold. What are some of you holding?

$2500 on LHSIF at $1 a share

I like that they are expanding in Florida(medically legal). And Florida has a shite ton of old people that can get access easily.

There are only 14 licensed companies in Florida. So competition is limited compared to California.

Eventually when weed does become legal with respect to the federal government. Liberty Health Sciences will be a prime target for acquisition due to a huge Florida population.

I've taken a flyer out on Livewire Ergonomics (LVVV). I don't know if I'll ever get my money back but I only risked $500. I'm pretty sure my only hope is they get bought out at some point.

I'm close to buying MJ...gives me the overall upside of the category without the risk of individual players.

I'm viewing it more as a trip to the casino than an investment. This is purely speculative but I feel really good about the long-term legalization of marijuana...so it is a matter of "when" not "if" the category explodes.

Before a while back, was looking pretty good until Canada legalized weed and then it’s been pretty stagnant. I think this announcement should help and the plan is to have a full mail order approved pharmacy up and running from what I can tell.

Got some too. Bought at the end of last month. Up 48% in 10 days. Wish I would have found it sooner. I'm a true believer in this one and plan to ride it up.

Also got some CGC. I believe in that one as well, though not as much as NXTTF.

ouch, but don't worry. You'll get there, maybe this week.

I was going to sell if I hit +25%. Now, I'm holding.

Most exciting thing is to watch an industry, that should never have been made illegal, be born.

I’ve been in CGC since October. It’s been a nice ride. I’ve taken some profits along the way, but plan to stay in it for the long run.

They’re well situated in Canada and internationally and have the backing to make moves where necessary. Hopefully it keeps running.

I’ve got around $5K in Livewire so far (around 125K shares) and my kid has 250K shares, though his are currently restricted shares. They’re still waiting on their state license and some city permits in certain areas, but things will snowball after that. They have so many pieces in place with completed and in-process acquisitions of Mojave Jane, Sacred Biology, and Alpha Creations (medicinal products already in over 200 stores). They have one greenhouse up and running in one location that is being leased to a non-profit while Livewire awaits their state license. They are part of the huge Coachella Brands complex that is currently under construction and already have their Coachella city permit, and have already dropped some pods on site. They’ll primarily be a supplier of clones at the Coachella site and have 169 different genetic strains. One pod can house 25,000 clones. They have 4 greenhouses (not up and running yet - again, state license) that can house 75,000 clones each. Clones can fetch $10-20 each. They are also awaiting a permit at a 3rd location 100 miles away from that site. They have a couple excellent horticulturists, and the lawyer shepherding them through the permit process, Omar Figeuroa, literally wrote the book on cannabis law in California. They also have the “7x pure” blockchain purification tracking process that all of Coachella may end up using. And to top it off, they recently signed sports legend Jimmy Connors as a spokesman. There have been several similar companies that went from pennies to over $10/share - one even hit $13/share with ZERO revenues. Livewire is such a bargain right now.

They’ll be a seed to sale operation. They’ll have their own nurseries/greenhouses, the extraction process via Mojave Jane, the manufacture of products (muscle rubs, oils, edibles, etc.) via Alpha and Sacred Biology - and they’ll be supplying large-scale growers via their clone sales. The big cultivators don’t grow from seed - they buy clones from an outside source because it allows them to grow 6 crops per year instead of 5 (if they grew from seed). Just off of their 4 greenhouses and a couple pods, they’ll have the potential to crank out over 300,000 clones per month.

Hold your shares long term - they’ve been dragging arse on press releases and keeping investors up to date on some things, and a simple tweet of certain news will double the share price in a day. And don’t panic and sell in one of these dips like it is having right now (great buying opportunity). Don’t be tempted - hold long. I’ve seen one projection of over $2/share a year from now. I’m not basing my faith on that, though - I just personally think they are going to explode because they are making all the right moves. And I’m sure Jimmy Connors did his due diligence since he is getting paid in stock.

Rowbear, how did you hear about Livewire? What prompted you to invest?

So it’s $.035 per share at moment, what did you buy in at?

My average is at .041 now. Highest I’ve bought was at .045, and today was my lowest at .035. When my kid got in, it was .0001.
Back around May it hit .08, mostly off the news of the Mojave Jane acquisition.
It’s going to fluctuate until more of their licenses/permits come through. But if all goes as planned, it will skyrocket.

In one of the counties where they are awaiting a permit, the county has only approved 1 of 34 applications. It’s an industrywide sloooooowwwww process. They just busted 150+ cannabis businesses operating without licenses in California. Things aren’t going to move at a fast pace until all licenses are in place, and that has some people getting antsy - hence the periodic dips.I thought I was satisfied with my share volume, but I can’t help but buy more when it dips into the 3s. I’m waiting for more funds to hit my account later this week, so you peeps better not drive it back into the 4s before I’m done buying my 3s.

I especially like that they have irons in the fire in multiple locations - they aren’t putting all of their eggs in one basket. They are also in the process of uplisting right now.

Kind of on a whim. Read an article about them (not near what you just described) and figured why not throw a few hundred dollars on it and see if it can become anything. After hearing that, I may drop some more into them in the next month or so

That’s how I started out - my kid had his shares that grew exponentially, so I said what the hell, I’ll throw a few bucks in it. Then I figired I’d get a little more to sell half when I get my money back plus half to hold long. Then I figured I’d add a little more so I could day trade a third of it. Then I started really following the company and learning all the details, and I can’t help but buy more.

Everything hinges on that state license, but they have put themselves in the right position and have the right people working on it. The week to week fluctuations and the dips are meaningless in the big picture. Of course, every penny stock is basically a speculation play.

I think the MJ business is going to be similar (on a slightly smaller scale) to the .com boom of the 90s. I am trying to position myself with a few different companies that I think may one day be something....I wish I had bought into CGC when I first started researching them. I'll probably throw another $1-2k each on LVVV, NXTTF and MO. I think once we get closer to legalization in the States, MO is going to start buying up smaller companies quickly.

I'm in MJ pretty good in my 401k and a small amount in my personal account. It has had a great month. Similar to you, wanted to dip my toe in but limit downside. Now, I'm getting greedy and want that big upside of individual stocks so I'm tracking APHQF and CGC. I know CGC blew up but I think these are long term plays so I don't think I've missed the boat.
