Or is this the market saying we have had enough? My portfolio is up 8% today, but down 21% last 3 months. Thanks growth stocks.

Volume is unimpressive. Looks to be a Bear Mkt rally. Good day to sell losers though, if you need to reallocate positions.

Sold a couple of things that i wanted to sell but waited to be in the green. Picked up a few really beaten down Div stocks. Expecting more pain till the end of the year or until inflation starts to look like its turned the corner. Nothing really to start a Rally so yeah think this is just another dead cat bounce.

Proof will be in the pudding. I’m not doing anything on the equity side. I’m selling calls, though not aggressively.

Bear market rally. Market isn’t going straight down then “all done”… probably going to be 18 months of downward chop

ETA, which were 6 months into.

I’m a bullish trader but this feels like a BMR, especially coming off a three day weekend with lower than normal volume (this last part is the key).

These are the new Div Stocks I picked up today: WSO,LOW,CB.
New stocks for me and figure they can go down more but will DCA every few weeks if needed but long term really great Div's and solid companies.

Stocks look pretty beaten down. Can’t see then dropping much more maybe another 10 percent or so at most

Any day I'm scheduled to buy is a dead cat bounce day. Its an immutable truth.

Today is the beginning of the dead cat bounce.
The market will trend up until more bad news is reported.
Any good news or even fake good news will spark a temp rally.
Then the bottom will fall out.
The next inflation report and consumer confidence report will be horrendous and the DOW will drop 2000 points.

The only way we don’t drop another 30% or more is if the fed pivots. If they keep plowing we will absolutely take another 20-40% haircut in the s&p. JMO

July 13 CPI report pre-market.

Ask yourself “Will inflation be worse or better in June than May?” You might take a hint from fuel prices.

Prepare your anus. I’m buying SPY puts at the end of trading July 12.

I know people look at this a bit different but we could see another 20 something % drop in the S&P 500 to 3300-3400. Of course those are technical indicators and who knows. However I am preparing for wild swing and big drops.

I don't see how anything changes as long as fuel is what is it. Eventually earning will take a dump and the sell is on.

All I can do at this point is watch and potentially get more in cash.

Also buying dividend stocks with my winnings, and I say winnings because I’m just gambling, from OTM options with all this volatility.

To add to recent purchases others have mentioned: TROW, ABBV, INTC, O, BAC, AVGO, EPD, MO
