Some of this unfortunately is on me. I have the worst luck ever and bought some WKHS last week.

This is why you never go all in on a stock. Sick to my stomach over this for those who put a lot more than me in this. I’m at a higher number but with few shares. I’m just gonna hold at this point and forget about it and move on. Probably need to crack open a hard liquor for today.

I was just trying to see what other orders they have in the pipeline and aside from the 6,300 ordered in January, I didn't find much. Looks like they're planning to build only 1,800 this year, so I'm not seeing the windfall. If there's a play here it now appears to be much more long term. Their capacity seems REALLY low, and there are a ton of competitors jumping in...as I noted earlier.

quote:

Several startups and established automakers are jumping into the electric cargo van and delivery truck business. Rivian has a deal to provide 100,000 electric delivery trucks for Amazon. Ford is launching an electric version of its Transit cargo van. Mercedes-Benz is rolling out an electric version of its Sprinter van.

If this thing gets below 10 I may take a flyer and buy a bit more, but the outlook doesn't feel rosy and not worth $16/share...to me, at least.

I sold all but 100 shares at a $3.23/share loss. Gonna hold onto the last 100 for awhile. If it gets below $10 maybe I'll accumulate more...but I really need to stop investing in speculative plays for a bit. Lol

They needed that initial contract to jumpstart production at a competitive level. That seems difficult to do now.

I admire your commitment, and you give great advice on here and hit on a lot of plays. I enjoy your takes and your picks. But man, it's hard for me to see the light with you on this one. This company's upside completely hinged on getting that contract. I don't see how this stock isn't completely trashed. Very glad I got out of this when I bought in around 40 and it kept slowly dropping to 30. Panicked and sold around 35 especially after reading about the competition they faced and really not having the capability of meeting the production demands of this contract.

I had taken my stop loss off when i bought more on a dip. Well then today it fell off a fricking cliff while i was doing something. I went from having a 1200 profit to down like 400. This past 7 days is this worst and completely wipes away months of investing and profits.

The penny stock discord is a mess right now. Lots of consoling going on, understandable when everyone was certain the contract would go to WKHS.

Meanwhile, the OSK ceo said this on a call a few weeks ago...

quote:

“We’ve got a very strong, very comprehensive bid that meets all of the needs of the U.S. postal service. So I mean, I’ll repeat that, we do meet all the needs of the U.S. Postal Service. Meaning, if they want, under the Biden administration, more weight toward one type of propulsion than another, we’re ready for that. Now we’ve got our fingers crossed. We believe we’ve got high reliability solutions and hope to have good news at the next earnings call,” John Pfeifer, president and chief operating officer of Oshkosh, said in a call with investors

Lost to a defense contractor without a vehicle lmao

God dam I hate DC. 3k down the drain on the only stock I did massive amounts of DD and tons of time into. This was the easiest call I have ever seen

So they needed the contract to build a production plant? That takes a while. They were making trucks by hand at 6 or so a week. Ford can spit out 1000 F150s a day.

Had a 100 shares for a while @27 that sold nicely as a call as it ran up to nearly 40.

Picked up 100 more at $15 during the let-down.

No offense, but if you watched months of investing/profit disappear in the last 7 days and did nothing—that’s on you.
