I don't play the trading or timing game. I'm a boring DCA'er.

The situation/news will likely change a few times before we open Monday morning.

What has occurred in the last 80 days involving this mess to make you think it was resolved? The fact that traders keep getting the rug pulled on them with these articles/sources/and trumps nonsensical babbling is hilarious.

Nothing. Any sane rational person knew it wasn’t going to stay open very long. It barely made it 24 hours. That doesn’t stop the idiotic gullible sycophants like SDVCuck and Fat Bastard from coming on here calling everyone childish names and spiking the football over complete and total bullshite.

This has been the most confusing far.
Iran leader get killed. Trump said he wants inputs on selecting new one. Then it’s not about regime change. Now about the strait of Hormuz. Open/close/open/close. At one point trump said he didn’t care, then he tells other countries to come and claim it, then open the fricking strait tweet. Now US putting their own blockage. Also there was ceased fire, break of cease fire. Now trump posting about US tired of being pushed around for 47 years by Iran. Before all this started, did the average American wake up everyday and think of “I’m tired of being pushed around by Iran”?
At this point no one knows what will happen. But every time something happens, people on here post “tired of all this winning” or “see I told you” like they’re only obsessed in making others look stupid or wrong.
Knowing all this now, I wonder if trump would start this conflict if he could go back in time.

All while quietly lifting oil sanctions on Russia to help with prices.

Then it’s weird for you to be getting involved in this. No horse in the race

No horse in the race if the Strait stays open or closed? I think we all have a horsepower or two in that race.

A true DCA’er shouldn’t be concerned about short term in the market. Only very long term

It probably did age well. The amount of people here that trust Iran is actually scary

As far as investments, yes, but as far as energy prices and the economy outside of the stock market, I disagree.

Just like when he declared the Ukraine/Russia war was over in February.
Oil futures right now are UP almost $7/barrel because control of the the Strait of Hormuz is still being contested and DJ futures are down (for market opening tomorrow morning) almost 400 points.
Friday's celebration that the Iranian conflict was settled was wayyyyy premature.

Oh my fricking goodness, give it up.
Oil is up $7, we are doomed. Do you people ever take a pause and realize how old this gets.
It is going to be OK, and your concern will be noted and remembered in a less favorable light.
