Say you are a honda salesman? What kind of a deal can I expect to get on a 2015 Odyssey EX-L (no options) when the 2016's start coming in?Also, when do the 2016's start coming in?

We test drove the 2016 pilot today and it was nice. We still want to test drive the 2016 pilot elite trim since the transmission is different. We want captain chairs in the middle row and only the elite has them.

Can you hook a fellow poster up Coach?

Eta: our rankings based on ones we drove:

1. 2016 pilot
2. 2015 enclave

3. 2015 highlander

4. 2015 pathfinder

I never promote business due to the guidelines of TD...but yes...I have earned business by giving advice.

I've yet to see an Elite trim come out...have a waiting list of 11 people waiting on them.

Im expecting the Odyssey around October-November?

As for a 15's when 16's come out...its hard to tell. All depends how many 15's are left. Given the history of how Honda has their release dates scheduled...we will not have many when 16s arrive.

but I think truecar.com is in ballpark

Truecar is in bed with the dealers, they couldn't stay in business the original way it was set up trying to give consumers too much pricing info and killing dealers.

I'm only seeing two elite trims close to me in the dfw area. I know that sticker is ~$47k, what do you think is a good sell price? Should I say what on average is the amount they would come down?

At the moment...MSRP. Until the market evens out, it will be that way.

What do you think of the 2016 Pilot vs the acura MDX? Will MDX's be cheaper over the next couple of months due to the pilot pulling away some market share?

Just curious, do you not consider $500 over dealer cost a fair deal to the dealer?

He's saying that people come in wanting dealer cost minus $500.

Oh, I misread it. I usually tell the Toyota dealer I have bought from, I will pay $300 over dealer cost and we can sign papers, and that has been a good deal for me and I assume them.

Waiting on his report, he looked it over at lunch time yesterday and should be emailing today. Meanwhile, car got towed and is now at the body shop as well. So I should get their estimate as well.
