I noticed it started dropping after that FB post

Added another 1000 on the dip and more importantly, bumped the thread.

Another 3 years till production could be a drag. Total cost of the project aint cheap either.

I may be mistaken but 2028 has been projected for a while ever since it got pushed back a couple years ago. I don’t think it’s an additional delay, but I could be wrong. Just working off an old and shot memory

I think $22k/ton is very reasonable starting in 2028 and going forward. According to all I've read, that's pretty conservative for a 20 year estimate. Hopefully they can get the cost down some if interest rates get cut.
2028 has been the production target for awhile. Lithium demand isn't expected to start really growing until then anyway.

Based on what? Not trying to argue with you. Just asking your thoughts?

Analysts and their projections.

Well that PR went as expected.

Yup, DFS was almost certainly completely baked into the price already, that move started back in June.
Nothing unexpected, all systems go. Certainly could have been bad, but there was very little chance the DFS was going to be 'good' for stock price movement.
FID will probably be a pre-news move as well. I imagine we'll start seeing anticipation for that late October/early November.
We need the offtake contracts for a binary news mover.

How do you think them announcing that they are starting a pilot plant in east Texas now, and the $billion shelf offering is to get east Texas going ASAP?
And before anyone asked why they need a pilot plant, they have to adjust for regional differences in the brine and higher lithium concentrations. They won't have to run it very long, but things may need to be tweaked.

Yeah they did the field pilot at SWA and didn’t even tell us they were gonna do that so it cant be that big of an ordeal..
It’s beautiful seeing SLI doing what they say they’ll do.
Also, heads up that the September management presentation dropped today and the one change that stands out from the August one is that the August one says “FID targeted BY” end of 2025 and September one says “Targeted AROUND” end of 2025. Im not a wordician but am primed for it to possibly come in January.
