A pessimistic reality:
CEO David Park, today's earnings release: “Now is the time for us to prioritize, focus and execute. Our attention turns to bringing production online for our shareholders, and the next right step for us is to move forward with customer off-take commitments and financing. We can then continue to advance, in partnership with Equinor, the South West Arkansas project and leasing foothold in East Texas.”
COO Andy Robinson, royalty hearing: "For us to be able to negotiate, and hopefully successfully sign any of those things, whether it's the offtake contracts or the project debt, that billion-dollar mortgage that needs to go against it, the royalty scheme, the fiscal regime, has to be agreed and in place for us to be able to sign any of those agreements in the future."
So the next step is offtake agreements and debt financing (their words), which can't happen without a royalty being in place (their words).
We've officially reached the stage where the lack of royalty is holding up progress.

I think there’s several people in this thread that are also in that FB group.

Which one of yall is exporting my impeccable DD to the FB group? I posted those in confidence!
If this royalty isn't solved soon I'm gonna start pasting to even more sites, until the AOGC gets tired of seeing my posts like Gordon McKernan billboards

I didn't want to go against the grain but I sold a thousand shares at 2$ and bought some more MNR. I may buy back with the distribution in December.

Yeh I sold a decent little chunk at $2.30 after the royalty got shot down and Trump got elected.
Don't think either is fundamentally a problem - the only project the royalty might have kickstarted is Lanxess, but I've said before I don't think they're actively pursuing that anyway. Still have to get the DFS for SWA before an FID can be made, so it's not waiting on royalties yet. DFS/FEED probably coming Q1 of '25 latest.
Trump election should be a boost because he's pushing domestic supply so hard and the US has virtually zero domestic lithium supply. That's great for SLI.
Unfortunately, the market doesn't think this far. They see "Royalty shot down? Bad. Trump elected? Good for oil, must be bad for lithium"
Writing was on the wall for short term pressure. Nothing real though. Will probably start buying those shares back soon plus some if it continues going south.

Thats where I'm at in my thought process.
My cost average is 3.25 so not selling anytime soon but I may take advantage of this red add and drop that average a good bit. I am in it for the long haul to see where it goes at this point.
