What difference does it make who starts production first? The demand will still be there. The product will sell. The only down side is there is no profit till it’s built.
SLI numbers won't work if the supply starts to catch up to demand. The longer they delay the more likely projects get operational in the U.S. and there appears to now be a race by world class sprinters.

An SLI spokesperson told Axios via email the company will soon release results from a feasibility study for its Lanxess project near El Dorado.
I'm wondering what the definition of "soon" is. Well, they were first out of the gate.

Sold mine to put it somewhere where it's actually working.
Will buy a bunch of LEAPS for less capital instead of sitting on a pile of stock.

Greenhead has there been any SLI sentiment at the new job?

I’m gonna wait for Jan 2025 calls before dipping into options. Just too risky in such a short time frame.

Last I heard, Gaucho was in a Covid FEMA camp mumbling something about Grintak

Yeh - at least it's on really low volume, but....yeesh. Hopefully these past couple days aren't because of a leak.
I aint selling but with back to back missed DFS targets, Exxon knocking on your door, and the decision to swap technology for the SW Ark project you do start to wonder.
Hard not to start getting just a bit nervous.
ETA: Down over 6% now....eeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh

Yeah I’m starting to realize that they’ve only been testing the chosen tech (Koch’s) for 9-10 months so the 3-year testing edge has been an illusion. Hopefully this delay is about negotiations and not production. Pretty soon I may board the bandwagon that they just want to be bought

It's depressing to watch others catch up and pass our turtle here.

Mining / commodities companies across the board are getting hammered today. SLI much more than others though

What's tough is even if we end up getting the DFS announced tomorrow, we need a 25% pop just to get back to last week's high. And lately any growth/tech/small cap stock that pops is shorted back down the next day.

Sent an email to IR this morning.
If they don't respond today, I'll send it direct to Mintak as well.
Will let y'all know if I hear anything back. They have not responded to my last two inquiries so I'm not terribly optimistic. (that being said, the CEO not responding to a random investor email is probably a good sign - I can't imagine Albemarle or Exxon's CEO would be getting back with me if a bitched at them about a bad earnings call)
I asked about the delay, the reasoning behind the SW Ark DLE technology swap, and the capital for the Lanx project.

Is it just a totally incompetent team? Just building up a facade to sell? Just the vibe they are portraying, or am I way off…
