The overall market ain't looking too good either. It doesn't help that DC still wants to binge spend while the fed is jacking up interest rates.
$3.26 at 3:00. Someone picked up over 60k shares this afternoon on otherwise very low volume.

Picked up 500 at 3.45. Hoping for a quick flip above 4.
More likely a flip under 3 than a flip above 4 at this point.

Yeh, victim of being in a pretty quiet period in a bad bad market. Great value at these levels. Depending on when it happens I think I’m looking to potentially double my position if it gets to $3.

Yep, that about sums up the year for me.

Yikes might get to $3 faster than I was expecting.
Down big premarket, with not insignificant volume.
What the heck is going on.

Seems abrupt for end of year tax loss harvesting.
Fear is affecting a lot of stocks atm

I'm wondering what the next catalyst will be for the overall market and SLI. DFS should be a big do or die moment.
In terms of overall market, I'm thinking that the change of leadership in the House will reign in the spend-thrifts money printing binge and thus restore some confidence in DC's sanity.
Of course, lots of other things can happen. DFS should bring SLI out of the shadows of doubt.

You heard from Mintak any recently? He sure has been quiet. Do or die time for SLI in '23 I think.

If the DFS doesn't pan out, Mintak will be in a lot of trouble.

I would think that someone in government would have the sense to do a few pilot demo projects on this kind of thing before jumping into such a massive change all at once. But, noooooooooooo...

Yes, buying small quantities of 50 - 100 shares every time I see it below $3.50.
Today I bought 80 shares at $3.24.

It's actually holding up well today all things considered

I still have 10K shares in this baby. can anyone please provide a brief synopsis on where things stand?

I haven't been following too closely but my sense is the main developments here in 2022 were just continuing to try to plow through all the feasibility studies needed to get to a DFS/financial investment decision by Lanxess. I think SLI bought a piece of land from Lanxess earlier this year, for where the first plant would be, so I assume that's a good sign. Lanxess has 90 days I think from the final feasibility study to decide if they want to invest or not, if not then SLI is probably going to Koch and others for capital. So expect final feasibility study by maybe July 2023, so maybe breaking ground on the first plant by July '24. So, to sum up, the delays continue. In hindsight, the run to $12 here last year was at least partially driven by the speculative bubble in many other assets, see bitcoin going to $65K in November '21 as an example.
Astonvilla- Did you keep your investment in ORGN? I'm just money market funds (SPRXX), SpaceX, and ORGN at the moment. Still a believer in it long term but afraid it could go to $3-4 if the S&P crashes to 3,000ish next year. I have made a fairly detailed DCF of ORGN's projected cash flows and think it can conservatively be valued at ~$20/share (that's including a tranche or two of the earnout shares vesting). That's all assuming the tech works which I think is 80%+ chance, while the market is pricing in almost certain failure at the moment.

Hopefully we can get some updated timing estimates out of Mintak at his presentation on Jan 6, 2023.
